Spent one night in this modern boutique trendy hotel.great decor with modern fittings. Very clean. Rooms are not large but have everything you need. Staff are pleasant enough but do not provide much information on hotel or promote any Accor offerings.

Came to celebrate my birthday with some friends at the Porter and I had the best birthday ever!! The valet: Evelyn, Eva, Hannah, Jarmoni, William, and Joelle were the best! They made the stay wonderful and I will be back because of them. My puppy absolutely loved them and I hope they are here when I come back!

Beautiful hotel in central Sydney

Beautiful rooms, great beds. Location is very good, easy access to anywhere you want to go, public transport nearby. The excellent breakfast was included. There is a tiny pool on the roof and a gym. The only criticism we had was that there is nowhere to have a drink or get together in the evening. There's Henry's on the ground floor that closes at 8 pm (!) on Saturdays and Sundays and 9 pm on other days. The cocktail bar is only open Thursday-Saturday, but closed for a private party the Saturday we were there. I would expect a 5-star hotel to have a lounge or somewhere for guests to have a drink in the evening after dinner.

Stayed at Porter House for the third time this year, this occasion with family and friends. Staff consistently friendly and welcoming, rooms clean, comfortable and for an inner city location, reasonably quiet. It’s extremely easy to get around Sydney from the hotel, walking or using public transport options and lovely to have an outlook towards Hyde Park. There are ample breakfast choices available and restaurant staff were as usual attentive and efficient. It’s become our preferred choice of accommodation in Sydney and we are sure to make a return visit.

Boutique hotel in the heart of Sydney

This is a luxurious hotel in an excellent location within walking distance to all the main attractions of the CBD. From the moment you arrive you are made to feel valued and respected as all of the staff are incredibly professional. Beautiful hotel, the only reason I have it 4 stars instead of 5 was the lack of view. The room was quite small but very clean and modern. Very comfy bed and very quiet. Breakfast was included in my package and it was absolutely fantastic. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.
