Stayed at Porter House for the third time this year, this occasion with family and friends. Staff consistently friendly and welcoming, rooms clean, comfortable and for an inner city location, reasonably quiet. It’s extremely easy to get around Sydney from the hotel, walking or using public transport options and lovely to have an outlook towards Hyde Park. There are ample breakfast choices available and restaurant staff were as usual attentive and efficient. It’s become our preferred choice of accommodation in Sydney and we are sure to make a return visit.

This is a luxurious hotel in an excellent location within walking distance to all the main attractions of the CBD. From the moment you arrive you are made to feel valued and respected as all of the staff are incredibly professional. Beautiful hotel, the only reason I have it 4 stars instead of 5 was the lack of view. The room was quite small but very clean and modern. Very comfy bed and very quiet. Breakfast was included in my package and it was absolutely fantastic. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Great Sydney Stay

Lovely big room with very modern amenities and a very comfortable bed. Location was great, very central with easy access and felt safe with locked gates in the evening. We didnt use the pool area due to lack of time but went to loom at it and it was very clean.

Wonderful stay. I stayed here with my family for a night. The hotel is very impressive, clean and front office team were really awesome 🤩 Restaurant (Dixson and Sons) was really impressive. Loved the menu. Food was 100/100. Definitely best in the town.
