Mantra Wings

Booked a 2-bedroom apartment for the family (2 kids and a baby) and was greeted to a large, spacious unit with views of the sea. Very large, functional kitchen, living and dining area. Rooms were big enough with plenty of wardrobe space. The pool was very big with a small shallow area for toddlers (but it joins to the deep part so be careful), adjoining undercover BBQ facilities, a tennis court and ping pong table. You can rent the equipment from reception. The building manager/receptionist is super friendly and happy to help. He even provided toilet paper on his day off (public holiday) as there was none when we checked in. The building is about a 10-15 minute walk from central Surfers Paradise so be warned (especially if you need to carry groceries), but it is only a 5-minute walk to the beach. Areas for improvement: - Some dirty cutlery and saucepans (you might want to give them a wash before using) - Bathtub needed a scrub. You could feel the grimy ring around the water level - A dishwashing sponge would have been nice

I have Been a weekly resident and a short term renter at the Wings and unfortunately transferred to another location. Wings is in a great location close to the beach and not far from both surfers and broadbeach. The staff, facilities and security of the building are excellent. In addition the Wings apartments are pet friendly ( a bonus) !!. I would be back anytime.

Totally disagree with cabg0804 comments! Everytime I come to stay I have found the place friendly to owners, tenants and holiday makers. Great amenities :pools, tennis court ,BBQ area ,children's playground, sauna ,well equipped gym etc... As for dogs, the system works well for all , as long as everyone follows the rules and bylaws set for the comfort of all. Will definitely come again and recommend it to everyone.

Spacious apartments great views and location Friendly staff , very accommodating. Enjoyable stay Great pool area and tennis courts Great value for money Away from hustle and bustle of surfers but still close 12 min walk. Broadbeach just down the road too.

On March 2 we had the displeasure of having to cancel our stay upon the arrival as our room was terribly unclean. The bathtub was so dirty I was unable to bathe my baby (faeces on the toilet, food residue on the bench, soap scum caked on bath tub jets and showers, mopped clumps of hair on the tiles, filthy walls and doors- the list goes on). We were promised a full refund of the $895 and asked to send the hotel pictures for immediate attention to housekeeping. After having to pack up our groceries, all our luggage and our 9 month old baby, we had to cart our belongings to alternate accommodation. Not only did we have to fork out extra for a last minute booking in peak season we were not, as promised refunded our money. It has been 4 weeks and still no refund after repeated calls we have been told it is coming but it still has not arrived. GIVE US BACK OUR MONEY MANTRA WINGS!!!
