Stay away from apartment 1374

DO NOT STAY IN APARTMENT 1374 The place was absolutely filthy. See all photos attached We couldn't use the kitchen from how bad it was. The place looked like it hadn't been cleaned properly in years. The bed sheets all had stains on them The couch was broken The window seals were so worn out that we couldn't sleep from the sound of the wind coming through. I have videos! The internet did not work (they sent a guy out twice to try and fix it) The air conditioning didn't work (we have proof from messages to the owner to ask them to come out and fix it) We were there in January which was over 30 degrees days for the whole week. Absolutely shocking service and do not wish that upon anyone, especially families with kids. We reported all the issues to them and they disregarded us, instead they blackmailed us and said they will offer us $200 refund only if we put a good review for them. Have that in writing too. It was managed by holiday paradise, so if you're booking to stay in this complex, make sure its not through them.

Well placed Surfers Paradise hotel

We stayed at this hotel over the New year period. Whilst the town was insanely busy, as expected, checkin was very quick and efficient. The staff were very nice and helpful. The hotel is central to Surfers and a short 5 min walk to Surfers Paradise Beach. Many restaurants close by a Woolworths right outside the door. The room was well preserved and in very good condition. Indoor and outdoor pool. Would recommend this hotel for couples or a family.
