Not as Pictured/Tired But Close to The Beach.

Just had 5 days here. The check in staff were super helpful and friendly, the car parking is very well organised, but the facilities and rooms are nothing like the photos on the website. The room was very old and tired, laundry door off its hinges, dirty floors and grime around the skirting boards, bare and rotten architraves, hair on the floor of the main bedroom, stained linen and towels, grimy and yellowed shower screens and bath, rusty oven and range hood, stained armchair and lounge and mouldy and dirty curtains. As I said the check in staff are great but the maintenance and housekeeping of this hotel leaves a lot to be desired. There are two buildings so if you want the view as pictured ask for the front building but we still had a view from the second one back as we were on the beach side. If anyone from senior management of Accor reads this review or cares I have plenty of photos.

Just returned from 10 days staying at the Moroccan and had the best time we stayed in a 2bdrm and it was so spacious with amazing ocean views the room had everything we needed for our stay and more, the staff at the Moroccan are so helpful, they did everything they could to make our stay amazing, the Moroccan is located right next to the light rail and only one stop from Cavil Ave so your in surfers Paradise central in 3 minutes - we will definitely be back

Great Location

We stayed 5 nights in mid February in a spacious 2 brm/2 bthrm apartment on the 15th floor with marvelous ocean views which more than met our needs for the very competitive price paid. Yes, the room was getting a bit worn and needing some renovation but was clean and had everything we needed. The only thing that lowered our score a little was that we did seem to get a number of small to medium sizes cockroaches through the place that we had to deal with. That didn't worry us too much - rather that than spiders! However, we did mention this to reception. We would stay there again no problem

For our family holiday the Breakfree Moroccan at Surfers Paradise had all our needs catered for. To start with, we were contacted before our scheduled check-in time to be advised that our apartment was ready for us. Upon arrival I was greeted promptly by manager Riccardo who duly checked us in and advised all that was required with great enthusiasm and professionalism. Despite this, 5 minutes later, I was in need of assistance (after having a brain fade) with the elevator function. A call to reception and Riccardo was on his way resolving the issue without question even though the timing for him would of been quite disruptive. For the duration of our stay we continued to have all our needs met, from the on site facilities including both indoor and outdoor pools, through to the presentation of staff and premises making for an extremely pleasurable stay. We definitely would not hesitate in recommending the Breakfree Moroccan and without question will revisit booking here if needed in the future. Congratulations Breakfree Moroccan for providing us a great place to enjoy our holiday, and your Manager Riccardo deserves all accolades possible. Thanks kindly.
