We were disappointed that the Restaurant was closed on Sunday, being a weekend. The location on the Beach was good, the room was good however, the decor in the rooms need upgrading. The breakfast was disappointing for the cost.

The resort is old. Everything is old, from the oversized spa in the room, to the drink stations at breakfast. Breakfast was simply awful. Tasteless, bland, stale bread, and a creepy chef staring at you while you get food. There's not enough lighting around the resort at night and using the pool/hot tub past dark is taking your life or at least your limbs in your hands. This is not a place I'd revisit or pay this kind of money to stay again.

My room was fine. The gardens, trees and water dragons and birds are just wonderful. The staff are great. But the gates that are locked and requiring keys to open them and often they don't work especially around the pool. It is very frustrating. Also having no access to food between breakfast and 3pm when the restaurant opens is really just not good enough.

Perfect little get away

We were pleasantly surprised. Yes, it is an older-style place to stay but honestly, the room was comfortable, and the location was perfect. We stayed for 5 days and 4 out of 5 days we had rain on and off yet we were still able to use the outdoor spa due to it being covered over and the indoor pool if we wanted to. We had rooms with the spa which also meant we could have a warm spa at night. The reception staff were friendly and helpful, we had lots of wildlife hanging around which was also very nice. It is a place we will be coming back to thats for sure and hopefully with some warmer weather.
