Come as a family of 4. Me my wife and 2 young daughters. One is 6 and one is 14. The hotel is huge and couldn’t wait to explore. Kids club is great if your child likes to keep busy. So the main buffet is like a free for all such a stressful experience and this happens on a daily Sun beds well… u have to wake up at 5 am to secure yourself a half descent one. Fridge in are room was warm rather than cold The TUI rep man at reception is sooo unhelpful. You have to pay to use the al la cartes u only 1 included in your stay, others are priced at £40 per person It so expensive inside the hotel shops it’s shocking I will not be coming back to this hotel ever again. My young daughter got food poisoning and had to go on a drip in the hospital There not many pros I can put on here because the whole holiday has been a nightmare. I’ve never ever wanted to come home from a holiday before even my girls have had enough

Amazing looking hotel and much larger than pictures show. Kids club was the best I have ever seen, it had entertainment every evening and all day loads of different activities. When we arrived we was upgraded to a suite in the Diamond Club, however as lovely as the suite was with the separate pool, they didn't upgrade our board, so couldn't enjoy drinks or food from the bar literally opposite our room! (even though we was all inclusive, the Diamond club was an extra whopping £100 per person per day) We had to go out across the main pool area to get one and go all the way to the main restaurant area for lunch/snacks. After speaking to reception and customer relations, they were not at all interested in helping and said it was tough. If this had been explained at check in, I would have definitely stuck to our original accommodation. Restaurants, you have to book on an app every morning at 8am, but logged on every morning as soon as it opened and couldn't once in the whole week get into one. We had to eat in the main buffet restaurant every lunch and evening, which again had a lovely variety of food but it was so busy, same food everyday and quality was poor. (compared to other hotels we've stayed in before) Water park is not open all of the time so made it difficult to get there around lunch and was always so busy in the 2 hours! Some slides were closed too, so wasn't all accessible. Facilities in general were brilliant - Gym, loads of activities etc To summarise, lovely hotel but far too many people there which ruined the experience, and all outside furniture etc is very used and not like the pictures! For the thousands of pounds it cost us to all go, I wouldn't go again.

Excellent family stay We stayed as a family of four, including two young children for one week at the Rixos Sungate. We all had a brilliant time. This is an excellent hotel for children, I have never experienced a better kids club, it was fantastic. ROOMS: We were upgraded to one of the suites by the marine bar with access to a private pool and a separate living space. I can't fault the room at all. It was very spacious, clean, modern, nice shower etc. It was cleaned daily to a good standard, too. The room has air con, tvs and a safe. Some other rooms did look a lot less modern/ not as well located, but we have zero complaints about our room. POOL AREAS: The main pool area is quite loud and busy, as expected, as it is the hub of the hotel. It is clean for the most part. Apparently, sun loungers can be difficult to come by at the main pool (we only went once but had no issue) The kids' pool/splash pool was fantastic. Shallow enough for less confident swimmers with very dedicated lifeguards. Good little slides and fountains. And good access to the kids' pool bar serving soft drinks and ice lollies. My youngest loved it here. The waterpark was my oldest sons heaven! Slides are great (although two were closed our whole visit). This is a great addition. Just two small negatives - the non-slip mats are easy to trip on, be aware. It is such a shame that the waterpark and splash park close 12-2pm every afternoon (including the bar) it's a shame to close them at such a key time. FOOD: The breakfast wasn't great, a bit manic, we ended up skipping it most days. I recommend the Rixy Restaurant for lunch - less choice but a much nicer vibe and pace, good selection for kids. The Alara Snack Bar was quite nice for lunch - try the jacket potatos, lovely! Dinner was fine, a bit repeated, but ok. Turkish food is by far the best. The standouts are the noodle bar (open 3-6) and the croissant bar. Also, the ice cream shop and patisserie are nice (by the kids' pools) We went to Cactus as our alacart option. It has a nice location and the live music was nice too. Starters and desserts were nice, and the mains were OK. One visit was included in the price, but I'm glad we didn't pay. You can pay for other restaurants. I think fine dining, Japanese, Chinese, and seafood. BARS: All really good. Offering a great choice of soft and alcoholic drinks. There's a nice smoothie bar by the main pool. The Marine Bar is 10/10 for service and cocktails. Excellent. GYM/SPA gym is very well equipped, and classes are free all day. What a great addition (included) SPA is a bit tired / dated and really needs some attention. Lockers were broken, and the floor was dirty / rough. Tiles, etc, are cracked, and showers are not great. That said, it is free to use. KIDS - Wow. Exceptional. Best facilities for children we've ever experienced. Kids club workshops are amazing, my kids got to try so many new activities including music class, woodwork class, robot coding and painting. All are included and all fully taught by great instructors. I can not recommend them enough. The kids club itself is also great with a gaming room, play area, park, building tables (lego etc) and more. You can leave your kids there alone to be minded by the staff, but we stayed with them. There is a nightly disco. My youngest liked this. They set out games and stalls with popcorn, candyfloss, ice cream, mocktails, etc, which is brilliant, keeps the kids entertained for a long time. The Fairytale night by the main pool was nice but chaotic - super busy! There is a little land train to ride around the site on. This was great! Kids love it! Really nice addition! BEACH - nice private (to the hotel) beach (quite rocky / sharp so bring flip flops) loungers included. Water is shallow for about 15m, then gets quite deep. The pier is a lot of fun to jump off. OTHER The free visit to Land of Legends is great, such a nice addition. Buses there are chaotic, so give yourself lots of time. It's a lot of fun there. Queues for coasters were fine (no more than 10 min max), but for water slides, they are long (over an hour for the turtle coaster slide, so be aware) Such a nice addition from the hotel. Brits are certainly in the minority at this hotel. The hotel is dominated by Russian guests. They do not have any concept of how to queue, wait their turn, walk without bumping into you, or speak politely to staff. You will find that if you are not assertive, you will not get served at the bar or food at the buffet. It is not the fault of the hotel, but be prepared for the culture difference when it comes to the manners and lack of common courtesy from other guests. It would be helpful if staff addressed Queue jumping, but honestly, these guests are already utterly unbearable, I don't blame the staff for turning a blind eye! All in all, this hotel is brilliant for kids, probably not suited to those without children, to be honest. I would certainly recommend it and would revisit it.

Amazing 10 night family holiday

Fantastic hotel, catering for all ages. Spotlessly clean, well maintained and great service from staff. We recently returned from a 10 night holiday travelling with 16year old teenagers and a two year old. I should not of read the reviews on here before we travelled as it made me feel anxious on what we were walking into, I couldn’t have faulted a single thing! Kids club and entertainment was first class, we can’t wait to return and will definitely recommend!

Chaos, maybem, bad design, confusing layout, average and not a high standard! Far from the airport, mainly Russian visitors. I won't be back, there are much better hotels On par. Service is not too bad but all staff appears overworked and underpaid, their misery is visible.
