Everything was perfect Food was amazing in all restaurants especially the seafood one Special thanks to Ali , Olesia and Chimaa from Animation team and to Nourhan from Guest Relation, Asmaa from room service they were very helpful and welcoming

This was our third time back at this hotel, the last time being as the world was shutting down due to Covid and we were on one of the last flights out of Egypt! It was our wedding anniversary whilst we were away and I emailed guest relations to advise them of this. Upon our arrival and after checking in, which was very swift and well organised, we were shown to our room, and we had clearly been given an upgrade to a suite which was amazing. After the first day however, we didn't have any hot water for two days and also our sliding door wouldn't lock but a call to guest relations and it was sorted eventually. Guest relations were really good, they arranged for our room to be decorated on our anniversary and we had a cake brought to the room. Unfortunately, I had an accident whilst on holiday and fractured my wrist, however once guest relations were aware of this, they kept in contact with us, however on the Saturday before we were due to come home we were waiting for the taxi to take us back to the hospital and it was late. We asked the lady at guest relations if she could ring them to see if they had forgotten us, or were just running late (there had been a mix up earlier in the week). The lady asked us for the phone number (the hotel sent us to the hospital as they obviously have an agreement with them) but nevertheless we had to look up the number, gave it to her and she rang it and then handed us the receiver to speak to them and went back to what she was doing. No answer so she asked us if we could what' s app them to which we replied we had no personal numbers. She then tried ringing again off of her phone, said no reply and went back to her work. Extremely unhelpful in a stressful situation. This lady let the rest of her team down! Our room was in block 14 and our cleaner was amazing - Hamada Mohamed - thank you so much. One of the best cleaners we have ever had. He seemed to notice when we left the room, popped in and cleaned it to a very high standard, and by the time we got back everything was perfect, every single day! A true credit to this hotel. We managed to get into all the restaurants which we fancied with no problem. Our favourites were the Italian and Asian and our least favourite was the Turkish. Salt was great for relaxing lunches although it did fill up quickly and we noticed a lot of people from Sea Gate came down for lunch (which we totally understand is allowed but is unfortunate for those who are in the Rixos Adults Only) and would like a meal served to you as opposed to the buffet. We also feel that the new golf villas will also impact on the restaurants (especially Salt at lunch time). We had a nice time, slightly spoilt by me having an accident, but we have decided we would not come back again as we did not like the loud music (the beach bar has been ruined in our opinion for a quiet drink in the evening as it used to be). It is so loud and if you happen to have an early slot in the fish restaurant you cannot hear anyone speaking and you can feel the beat in the floor. I agree with other comments that the hotel appears to be aiming at a different age group (18-30) with all their Instagram- able features around. Also looking back at photos from when we have been before the menu's have hardly, if at all, changed and we don't want to come back and eat the same things again. Finally, a note to management, please stop putting pressure on your staff for reviews. We are on holiday we don't want to be pestered by the pool or in restaurants to write reviews using staff's QR codes whilst they put pressure on us and watch us. You won't get true feedback as people are put under pressure. If they are doing a great job you wont get any complaints and they might even get a mention in a review if they have been exceptional. We stopped going to the Sensatori for this very reason.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Staff were excellent and very helpful. Food very good especially in a La carte restaurants. Hotel grounds were immaculate. Have stayed in several 5 star hotels but this was best of the lot. Have booked to return in February next year.

Had a great holiday here, definitely a very good hotel. The staff were brilliant especially the bar staff, they have to work way too hard. They need more help. The food is good with probably too much choice. The variety of restaurants was excellent and the food they produced was very good. However quite a few cases of upset stomachs, including my self and my wife. Christmas comes early to the hotel, although mid November they spent the 2 weeks putting up Christmas decorations. Amazing amount of decorations and lights everywhere. My only concerns were :- Why nowhere in any reviews or holiday descriptions was there no mention of not being able to walk from the beach into the sea – too rocky. Or no mention of the 18 – 30's Vibe, techno music all day at one pool, although did not hear it from the other pools. Techno music disco at the beach bar everyday from 16:00 – 18:00. Most evenings entertainment was a DJ or dance troup playing techno music, although there were a few less modern music items as night. But we did enjoy our stay, and are planing to stay in a Rixos hotel in Turkey next year because of that.

Had an absolutely fantastic 7th stay in November 2023. We had a lovely deluxe room on the ground floor of block 4, which was modern, spacious and kept spotlessly clean by our great cleaner Mohammed. As good as the facilities are here, the thing that really sets it apart from anywhere else we've been is the wonderful staff. Margarita in guest relations is a gem, she really goes the extra mile to ensure we have an even better time than the last visit. The bar staff are brilliant, Hassan at the beach bar makes the best drinks! Polis is fab too, always a smile on his face! Special mention to Karlos at the Lagoon pool who always makes sure you have anything you need. Michele at the lobby/old lobby bar is also fab! And DJ Fela is the most energetic DJ we've ever seen and such a lovely person to speak to! It's impossible to mention everyone, but each and every one of you contribute to our great holiday so thank you. Food is as good (or better) than ever. Our favourites this time were the Italian, Indian, Turkish, Asian and Mangal, where the staff made it a very memorable birthday evening. The whole food and beverage team work very hard to maintain and improve standards. Since our last visit, there are even more options included, and we had a couple of hours at the new Golf Villas hotel. It was a beautiful, pristine hotel and is a nice alternative option if you fancy a change one day. Like the Seagate, it's all included within your ultra all inclusive package and they even provide free transport. Would just like to finish by saying thank you to all the staff I've not had the chance to mention, you really do your absolute best to make our time here so special. See you in a few weeks for visit number 8!
