I was amazed to find out they had availability when Depeche Mode were in Glasgow. Prices are affordable, rooms are clean and staff is kind. The breakfast is continental and offers a variety of pastries, English breakfast, juices and so on. 🤗

One of the best Ibis Hotels.

Interesting music themed hotel. Large bar, café and dining area on the ground floor. Check in was easy and welcoming. Room was a little tight, but usual Ibis size. Bathroom could have used some maintenance as the shower hose was damaged so if you moved it around the water would stop. The conditioning/heating made a lot of gurgling noises and stopped working overnight on our first night. This was sorted the next day after informing the reception staff. Breakfast was excellent, great buffet selection and although busy we could always find a seat. We had a couple of meals and drinks from the bar which were also excellent and the whole bar/dining area had a great atmosphere. The location is interesting in a very office block business part of Glasgow. We chose this location as we were leaving by train and Central station was only a few blocks along the street less than 10 minute walk. Very comfortable hotel and friendly staff.

Decent budget hotel which was features that elevate it above the norm. Bedrooms are funkily decorated but are still what you’d expect from a budget hotel. The en-suite was very nice and good sized shower and decent power. The reception area is great with a good bar and seating area and pool table. Also free coffee and small cakes. Breakfast was not cooked (other than hard boiled eggs and baked beans), but good selection of bread, pastries, cereals,fruit and yogurts. Very near the city centre so great location.

2 night stay

When we first arrived to the hotel, we got there very early and the staff were very helpful in taking our bags so we could go and explore Glasgow. They then also had our room ready by 1pm which was fantastic as we were very tired after running on only 2hrs sleep. The room was standard, and was good space wise for a short trip, the bed wasn’t too uncomfortable and the pillows were great. The blinds were fantastic and kept the light out from outside. However the room was quite cold during the night and the heater/ac didn't work. The blankets were very thin also and didn’t provide much warmth during the night. Staff interaction was limited, we had went to the front desk a couple of times with queries and questions and staff were no where to be seen, and this was before 10pm. We had went to get lunch downstairs and when tried to ask the staff, there wasn’t much information given on how to order food and whether or not there was a menu. We also tried to wattsapp the number provided on the tv screen for questions at 7:15pm even now, that message has not been seen or replied to. This had really disappointed us as it was our first time in Glasgow and really put a damper on our stay.

Perfect night away

We stayed for one night and it was great. Bar was open till 1am then opened at 3am and with a 12pm check out I’d make good use out of that! Everything was very clean and I had no issues with the room. Had its own heating/AC so we felt so comfortable. Bed was amazing and the perfect size! I have been here before but anytime I stay in Glasgow, it’s this hotel. It’s close enough to everything and the breakfast is 10/10. Also in walking distance to most concert venues!
