Hotel with limited amenities; shower, minibar, bottles, welcoming drinks, indoor pool with restriction time and capacity. Meanwhile good for gym facilities, breakfast menus so great strategic location. Free parking but less signage board.

Bad experience and not obey All Safe standard

The most awful experience staying at Accor group hotel especially as a member. There is no dedicated line for Accor members. People that would like to self isolation from aboard queue at the same line with others. As platinum member even have to wait until 3 PM to check in. Even may be if we are not rushing the staff our room only will available later. Their reason because waiting the previous guest to check out. many guests that not using masks and hotel staff not even try to remind. During breakfast, one of the guest coughing without mask while queuing the food, the staff also looks don't care. So scary. It is totally not All Safe standard and the worst I have stayed. Even 3 stars much better!!

Stayed here several times because of its strategic location and near the places i usually go, however not many eateries in walking distance. The receptionist could've been more hospitable, maybe because every time I come I always handled by a new employee? To note there is no special checkin desk for privileged members, not convenient. Tried the executive room and privilege room. The executive room layout is odd, the position of the tv is not straight in front of the bed, but it is positioned straight in front of the door, so it is challenging to watch the TV from the bed, thus I prefer to stay in the privilege room which is one category level below the executive room. In both room types you get a free minibar. Bed is comfy but no bolster. The city view from the room is quite nice, especially at night when you can see the lights of the cars swerving because they are stuck in traffic. Oh one more thing, although there are many choices on the breakfast menu but I think the taste is mediocre.

Verry new hotel in gatot subroto area, great service, clean and comfortable room, good health protocol during pandemic. The one that must be improved is the breakfast menu should be more variative, but their restaurant have a great soto tangkar, i can't forget it taste.

A refresher course about COVID 19 should be done with staff hotel. Indeed, I spotted 7 guest without mask in the lobby upon arrival, after telling receptionists, they were scared to talk the the guest directly. Other story for breakfast, half the cooks we'rent using mask, I called out the manager which called the head chef who says “ they remove the mask to try the food as cooks do “ (10 mins without masks ) I got scared and cancelled and left breakfast. Staff has no clue about their products, we’ve booked rediscovered Indonesia, we have to go back and forth between room service and receptionist to enjoy our stay credit.

Well it was a last minute decision because my travel for work was canceled. The hotel is spacious and newly built. The view from my room is outstanding because i love to see the traffic flow. But what happened at your reception in the morning? I was in hurry and you only have one person at your front desk and the girl completely ignore me i know at that time she was with another guest. But it is never too much to say please wait a second yet she’s completely ignored me.

Overall, it was a great stay. I stayed for 2 nights, and as a gold member of ALL membership program, I got its benefits. They upgraded my room to Executive room. I got a room on 25th floor with a spectacular view. The check in process was smooth, however, I did not feel the warmth as the accor hotel standard as usual. The room was clean and spacious, and the breakfast was really nice and the choice was various. two things that could be improved are the room and the welcome snack. The welcome snack, that was a plate of fruits in my opinion is not enough, even the fruit choice was so standard. For the room, I was a bit annoyed by the noise from the room next to our room and from the hallway.

The Mercure Gatot Subroto is a good hotel to stay at for your required 5 days of Covid-19 quarantine. All the Covid tests are administered right there at the hotel so no need to worry about the how & where to get those done.

I was there for a quick evaluation for our company future business function and meeting, it was a surprisingly pleasant stays, I got upgraded to the next available bedroom class, and was given a free mini-bar as well. The bed is exception , the firmness if just right. Highly recommended if you wanted to stay for a business trip or a quick staycation in busy Jakarta

nice hotel, good location which I could enjoy sunrise in the morning and traffic along gatot subroto in the evening nice breakfast but need more little improvement for variety of food. the room s clean and have a health of protocol . nice staff which very helpful

New hotel, very friendly and efficent staff, clean new rooms. Unfortunately the hotel position is far from everything (restaurants, malls, etc...) and attached to main roads, that make your room stay a bit noisy. I still do not understand why water bottles are not available as standard in the room, but instead a water jag is provided (I personally would like to have a sealed water bottle instead of a water jag, that makes me feel hygienically less safe).

Providing water jug in the room is one of our effort to eliminate plastic pollution. Plastic is growing concern in the public opinion, all over the world anti pollution legislation is increasing, to reduce and stop single use plastic items. We cleaned and refresh daily drinking water in the jug provided, but we also provided water bottles by request. Awesome Interior

First visit, the front office couldnt find our booking number, we had to wait for an hour, after several follows up, finally we can get our room. It was a busy day for the hotel but I think STILL need service improvement around busy days like that. Room interior is incredibly nice, scents and cleanliness are also great. I love the painting behind the bed head. Lighting interior is stunning so we can produce nice family photos. View from the room (18th floor) is great facing Gatot Subroto street. Bathroom and powder room are also nice to hang in. Everything I experienced was lovely. Especially the front office staff name Olivia (I nearly forgot her name is it there any Olivia? - hahaha) she is really nice and helpful.

Good stay at brand new hotel

We booked this hotel for a stay during new year eve. As a accor limitless member we were advised to book via accor website to get a package deals, we were assisted by Ms Putri from reservation dept which was ver helpful. She extended her assistance to make sure we got all our request were meet such as the extra bed, non smoking room and arrangement for the bed setting in our room. On the day we checked in, though she was not on duty she had texted to make sure our stay was comfortable and everything was ok. Thumbs up for ms Putri! Everything was really brand new in this hotel, we loved our room and our lunch in the cafe were also delicious. We strolled to check out the pool in 17th floor. The water was too cold to swim but the bar area was a good place to hang out. The only down side was the bfast the next morning on jan 1. We understood that it was full occupancy in the hotel but since the package that we booked were included bfast and we believed most of the guest as well, at least the hotel should be more prepare to open extra room for the guests. The situation on bfast area was beyond control, people jst ate standing up in front of the buffet tables. We ended up not having anything as we did not hv any table to sit there is no staff to help mending the mess, and the food was literally almost finish. Other than that everything is ok.

I stayed 4 nights at this hotel and was very pleased with the clean and comfortable room. Was told this is a new hotel. Breakfast spread was adequate with good service and food quality. Would recommend for those have activities in Southern and Central Jakarta.

B/F was ok but the cleaning up of leftover plates could be faster. Presentation of food could be improved. Checking out was good though there was only one lady receptionist who could do the transaction in the morning at 9++am. Advice on where to go for dinner could be better.

New 4 star property with 1 star operations and management

Checked in and was told there was only smoking room left. Despite indicating that I wanted a non smoking room on the reservation, they said it was "on request" only and first come first serve. As it was a 2 night stay, I requested for a change the following day. Reception agreed to block a room and told me to go to reception the next morning for the change. Went to reception the next morning at 10, they said no such record and that all the non smoking rooms had been given out. I challenged if everyone staying that night was already checked into non smoking rooms. They just said sorry, nothing they can do. Only when I requested for the duty manager did they manage to get me a non-smoking room. Breakfast is definitely not worth the money. There is a decent selection. The only problem is that they went out of stock and was never refilled for the rest of breakfast. So imagine, no juice, no fruits, no yoghurt, a bit of bread left for the last hour of breakfast. I strongly suggest paying another 150K/night for a 5 star hotel nearby. Especially on weekends, the price difference is not big.

Stayed here for 2 nights last week was great as usual. Mercure Gatot Subroto has great rooms and location to make easier to go anywhere. Compliment to Harry a room attendant who take care my needs during stay as well Nurul at the restaurant. This is my fourth or fifth times stay in this hotel but i haven't found any taste food for breakfast. Suggest you also serve beef bacon like other Mercure for breakfast. Thank you.
