Arrived at the hotel an hour before check-in and was told that the room I requested (Deluxe Twin away from the elevator) was still unavailable as some guests decided to stay in the room a bit longer. Was told that I could only get the room after 3pm to 4pm. Check-in only had one receptionist and one trainee who really didn’t do much but just stared at guests. Think they were understaffed…the concierge were pretty friendly. I finally checked in after 6pm as we came back from a shopping trip and we were ushered to a room away from the elevator but next to the housekeeping room, which meant we heard banging and other noises in the morning. The room was clean and spotless…loved the rain shower and water pressure! The view from the room was nothing special as it was directly facing the Hilton and Skyview was on the right…beware that on weekends, there may be some bass noise from the neighboring complex. In conclusion, this Mercure wasn’t too bad in terms of location and rooms but service could be improved in terms of heeding the guest’s room choice. Also, have emailed them twice regarding the official invoice and a missing charger but they have yet to respond to those emails.

Indeed our deluxe rooms are only 20 units and I am sorry that we we could not deliver the room per standard at 2pm. As you noticed e are facing some challenges post COVID and we are on the way of solving them. I am sorry also for the disturbance in the morning. Your comments will be addressed for improvements. Clark man's attitude was so bad. Because he didn't support for finding my delived food. Just told, did you really ordered? What is your room Number without check anysaff. And so many ants in the room. Ants were in the snacks. So terrible experience.

Nice and clean room, friendly staff, we felt welcome, great location, enjoyed the rooftop with swimming pool, bar and a great sunset. For us, everything was great and can recommend that place. we will go back in that hotel again

Good Place but Not a Hospitable Services

After a wonderful time in Mercure Madrid, I love to try the place in other countries. Once I got the opportunity, there’s always a problem one after the other. First less service mind if you did not book directly from the staffs. Next with covid situation, every facilities closed but not even bother to help with cutlery or to warm the delivery foods that guest had to order since the inability to wandering off. Then the breakfast, taste was acceptable but bland and the portion or choices were poor

Dear valued guest, Thank you for choosing Mercure Bangkok Sukhumvit and I am sorry we could not live up to your expectations. As addressed to all guests staying, following the stringent measures and lock down by the Thai government, all food and beverage outlets of the hotel were being closed with limited manning and shifts available until further notice. For the mentioned above reasons and to reinforce our hygiene, our breakfast is organized with take away boxes and disposable cutlery. I hope that explains the measures taken and thank you for your understanding. We are looking forward to the easing of the restrictions and re-availing all of our services in the near future. The hotel is located in the center of the city with easy access.Staff are very attentive. Kids love it and room is clean. During breakfast, staff are very helpful. Swimming pool is located on the rooftop. Nice view with a bar on the top Suitable for family vacations.
