Hotel with great staff, but not suitable for couples

Staff: Truly outstanding, very attentive, friendly, and professional. Especially Caroline, one of the managers, was extremely helpful in making our stay enjoyable. Thank you for that! Rooms: Definitely book a room on the pool/beach side, as there's a large construction site on the other side, with noise even at night. Interior design is rather simple and basic, but well-equipped. Cuisine: Unfortunately, except for the very good Indian food, everything rather average and overall canteen-style, incl. lots of convenience food. Crowded seating/tables, no exclusive ambiance whatsoever, and queuing at the buffet adds to the experience. Even the à la carte dining was completely unconvincing. Sadly, hardly any Arabic cuisine and overall a rather overseeable buffet. Pool/Beach: Everything clean and with decent furniture. Like in Mallorca, guests are diligent in reserving loungers... Of course, the hotel can't be blamed for that. Also here: very kind staff. Lounge: Tasty snacks, though very limited compared to other lounges. Currently, hardly any/no outdoor seating. Nice ambiance. Conclusion: "The Retreat," as the hotel calls itself, is somewhat misleading for couples who might be looking for relaxation, peace, exclusive ambiance, and excellent cuisine. Due to the clientele, mainly families with small children from Germany and Russia, true peace and relaxation aren't really achieved here. The staff is truly great! The cuisine is particularly disappointing.

From start to finish, our stay at this hotel was simply amazing! We were warmly welcomed upon arrival, and the check-in process was smooth and efficient. The staff is incredibly friendly, professional, and always eager to fulfill every guest’s wishes. Our room was not only stylish and modern but also spotlessly clean. The bed was unbelievably comfortable, and the view was breathtaking. The little details – from the high-quality amenities to the thoughtful welcome gestures – made our stay even more special. The breakfast buffet was an absolute highlight: a huge selection of fresh, high-quality dishes, from savory to sweet, all beautifully presented. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was equally delightful – excellent cuisine, a great wine selection, and a wonderful ambiance.
