Overall we had a nice family here and this was our 9th stay in Dubai. I’ll start with the many positives. The staff were really nice, we had an excellent sea view room looking over the Marina which provided a brilliant view whilst sitting on the balcony. The gym was small but has all the equipment you’d expect and the 1.6km pedestrianised West Beach strip outside makes an excellent running/exercise strip. The restaurants went from good, to outstanding. Flow for breakfast and lunch (we were half board) was nice and provided good options. We did SeaGrill for NYE which was also good, Fervo & Bold Asian were both really nice too and the Little Miss India restaurant was outstanding. Happy Hour (4-8pm) at Blowfish is a nice touch too. Some things that would have made it better, having a sea view room is great, apart from when it’s noisy, and it was noisy a little too often. The beach clubs across the West Beach strip from the hotel are loud and on weekends (NYE went til 4am which I get) went well into the early hours. Beach access across the pedestrianised strip was compromised due to them allowing public access too. Beds are limited and you can only see the bed in front of you without frontline beach which comes at an additional cost. If you are travelling with young children the family pool was very busy everyday, so much so we didn’t use it (maybe due to the time of year). We have a near 15yr old and used the adult (16+) area everyday which was lovely a lot quieter. We were politely challenged on day 6 but once we highlighted there were no beds anywhere else it was fine. I’d highly recommend this hotel if you don’t mind background noise and have older kids (16-21yrs old) given there’s plenty going on on the West Beach strip and it’s not too far from the Dubai Marina. The staff were really good, as were the restaurants. It’s just a shame about the beach area and noise from the beachfront which is outside the control of the hotel.

Great hotel with superb staff who couldn’t do enough for us. Large rooms with excellent facilities. Separate adults pool & private beach. Good choice of restaurants. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Really nice setting, you can choose the pace at which your food comes by turning on and off a light on your table and you get the chance to try many different cuts of meats. Deserts were lovely and service was amazing by our waiters called Ushman and Myat!! Thanks for having us.
