Ive been an accor member for around 10 years now, only ever having staying in Australian Hotels. The Pullman in Rotarua is nothing like the Pullmans here. The service would exceptional, don't get me started on the Gold Card for the restaurant (one drink in Australia). I had the most excellent time, the rooms were well attended daily, with top ups of the bath salts, soaps etc. Just amazing. No other word for it.

We were really pleasantly surprised with this hotel as the reviews we read prior to were mixed. The room was very nice and spacious and spotlessly clean. In fact the whole hotel was spotless. The location is excellent being right in the middle of town and the staff were very accommodating.

When attempting to check in @ 14:00 we were informed that check in was now in fact not permitted until 15:00, at no time were we informed of this change and our email confirmation of the booking made only last month stated that check in was available from 14:00. The staff member was particularly rude about this and not accommodating in any way (like offering to look after bags). Made for a very poor start to our stay.

This is the place you want to be if you are in Rotorua. Clean rooms and friendly staff. The restaurant was good. Negatives would be parking and a need for a second trash can in the room.
