We were really pleasantly surprised with this hotel as the reviews we read prior to were mixed. The room was very nice and spacious and spotlessly clean. In fact the whole hotel was spotless. The location is excellent being right in the middle of town and the staff were very accommodating.

When attempting to check in @ 14:00 we were informed that check in was now in fact not permitted until 15:00, at no time were we informed of this change and our email confirmation of the booking made only last month stated that check in was available from 14:00. The staff member was particularly rude about this and not accommodating in any way (like offering to look after bags). Made for a very poor start to our stay.

This is the place you want to be if you are in Rotorua. Clean rooms and friendly staff. The restaurant was good. Negatives would be parking and a need for a second trash can in the room.

My wife and I were getting away for a quiet weekend and the Pullman was the perfect place in Rotorua. Literally minutes walk to shops, cafes and restaurants. The staff and service are tops, and the bar and restaurant are outstanding. Couldn't ask for a better place to stay.
