Well-located hotel

Comfortable rooms and a good location with easy access to Batignolles and Wagram areas. You can even walk into the centre of Paris in about 40 minutes. Housekeeping lacked consistency and could be improved: Empty drinks can under the bed from previous room guest, and on 2 days we were only given 1 bath towel despite 2 of us checking in. Lamp in corner of room 903 didn’t appear to work. Carpets needed vacuuming but were left with food crumbs on. Overall though we had a good time and spent most of the days out in the beautiful city.

I felt very comfortable at the Mercure Paris 17 Batignolles. It’s a modern business-style hotel in a quiet yet well-connected area — perfect for exploring the city. The rooms are stylish and clean, and the top-floor rooms offer fantastic views of Paris. The breakfast was great, with plenty of fresh options. Ideal if you want a peaceful stay without being far from the main sights. Would definitely return!

Clean and comfortable

Great hotel, in a quiet residential area of Paris with lots of bakeries nearby. Room is large and comfortable bed. Close the windows in order to engage the AC. Nice bathroom. Breakfast was basically but okay, lots of fruit and some hot options.

Not great! Ants everywhere

This was an awful experience! Don’t book this hotel! I was knowingly placed in a hotel room filled with army of ants. I stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. The first day I noticed 1 or 2 ants but didn’t think anything of it. I slept the night and the next day noticed again 1 or 2 in the bathroom. When I came back from my outing that day I discovered where they came from - I saw an army of ants !! When I went to the receptionist she did not seem phased by the situation - she didn’t even ask to take a look, it was clear they already knew about this problem but still decided to place me in that room. The receptionist moved me to a different room for my last couple hours there (had to get up at 5am to catch my train). I have asked for a refund for at least one night given the itchiness and bites I noticed in the first night but they are refusing. The room they placed me on was on the 7th floor!! I can’t remember the door number but I think it was 712 or 702!

Chère Mme IKOMI, Merci pour votre commentaire, mais j'ai moi-même constaté qu'il n'y a aucune fourmi en chambre 605. Mais c’est très sûrement lié au fait que vous avez laissé votre sac de nourriture venant de l’extérieur sur le sol de votre chambre !!! La réception vous a proposé malgré tout de changer de chambre et vous avez refusé !!! Et c’est bien sûr volontaire de notre part de vous attribuer la chambre 605, juste pour que vous soyez insatisfaite !!! c'est une plaisanterie !!! Comfortable accommodation but not the best location

Hotel located in a quiet area of Paris and not an ideal location for walking distance access to most major tourist attractions. Rooms varied in size over 2 stays at beginning and end of our tour, but all in all were functional but not spacious. Air conditioning appeared to be centrally controlled and temperatures varied from comfortable to warm/uncomfortable. One bottle of water provided daily and there is a refill machine in lobby which is well patronised. No toiletries provided other than 2 liquid soap dispensers and another luggage rack would have been helpful. Breakfast was ok with limited variety and would not recommend the scrambled eggs which were watery. Staff were very friendly and obliging and early check in at 9.30 am was greatly appreciated after a long flight.
