Best Triple Room

Upon arrival I was told no Platinum room upgrade was available. The next day it was available and Jin was kind enough to give the complimentary upgrade to triple room. This is a very spacious room with huge powder room/bathroom. A kitchenette with combined washer dryer. Also a good size executive lounge and business centre. Which is side by side so if the lounge was full you can actually dine at the business centre, plenty tables and chairs. Celine from club was very helpful. I put a request in for high floors, nice view during booking and got none of the above at first. Got a crappie view actually. See first few pics of the room that was allocated. This room was old, tired looking and dusty as pic of table bottom. Only when I was upgraded I got the request. I found the Accor hotels in Korea don’t care too much about their platinum members. My communications with them via email prior to booking wasn’t very informative. That’s with some of the other hotels. Not with just this one. Location so so, 5mins walk to Dongdaemun subway. Friendly staff though. I would stay here again just for the triple room.

Comfortable stay in a good location especially for a longer stay

We stayed 8 nights in a Residence room which was well maintained and serviced. The hotel is located in Dongdaemun which is a quieter touristy area but will satisfy any retail enthusiast. We especially loved how close we were to Gwangjang Market and the Metro. We had access to the Club Lounge which was a great stop for a decent coffee and light food. Breakfast in the main restaurant was hectic especially at the weekend, so we opted to have breakfast in the lounge. The options were similar to the main restaurant but after a few days, we found the offerings to be too repetitive. I thoroughly recommend this hotel (especially the residence room) if you are staying here for a few days.
