We stayed on the gold floor and were treated to a wonderful surprise in our room for my husband’s birthday! Balloons and special towel cake and a special chocolate cake treat. Jess and team went over and above and made a very special birthday in Singapore! Thanks so much Jess for making it so special!!!!

So attentive. Allowed us a late checkout 4pm. Treated us like stars. Congratulated us on our celebration. James & Syalirah were amazing in the Fairmont Gold Lounge.

This is an absolutely fantastic place to stay, staff were polite and friendly, always willing to help. A special mention to Jest in Gold Club. He went above and beyond to make sure we were looked after, well done!

Not the Fairmont Experience I Expected

This was my first stay at Fairmont Singapore and unfortunately, it fell short of expectations. There was no Accor Gold recognition at check-in and no upgrade offered, which was disappointing but I let it pass. The bigger issue came later in the evening. At around 6pm, I realised the in-room water filter in Room 2040 was not working. Even after the technician came, the problem couldn't be fixed. I was told to call the front desk to request bottled water, which resulted in just two tiny glass bottles-barely enough for two guests. The technician mentioned he would inform the duty manager, but there was no follow-up, no service recovery, and no acknowledgement of the inconvenience. I raised the issue again during checkout, but nothing came of it. On a positive note, breakfast at Asian Market Café was great. Overall, a disappointing first experience that did not meet the standards I expect from Fairmont or Accor.

We celebrated our anniversary at the lounge, and it turned out to be such a beautiful evening. The moment we arrived, the atmosphere felt cosy and intimate, perfect for a special occasion. Our steward, James, was wonderful and attentive which made the whole experience even more memorable. The tapas was absolutely delightful and combined with the relaxing ambience, it created the perfect setting for us to enjoy our night together. It was a truly lovely experience, and we left feeling happy, satisfied, and well taken care of. A place we’d gladly return to for our next celebration.
