Good option for short stay

Stayed here 3 nights and for Singapore this is a very budget friendly option. Hotel is located across from Clarke Quay so plenty of shops etc around also across road from MRT which was ideal. Checkin was easy and room was fine, basic but acceptable given its in central singapore. It did have coffee and tea in room and it was a pretty big room too. The only thing i didnt like was that the shower is literallly in the bathroom, not my preference but for a short stay in a very central location and at an affordable price was happy.

Centrally located with easy access to MRT (Clark Quay), dining and entertainment areas on banks of Singapore river. Room was functional, yet rather small and lacking decent working space. Breakfast service was of fairly low average, in terms of variety, taste and presentation. Rooftop pool is pleasant yet rather small for anything beyond a casual dip.

Small but fine for solos

We arrived early and were happy to leave our bags and go explore. We asked when our rooms would be ready, and told between 1 & 2 pm, no problem We came back around 1.40pm, and were told one room was ready (we had 3)…the room that was ready, was the one that was not pre-paid, but had done on line check in - this is wrong I explained, as it was my room pre-paid and checked in, yet was under another of our party’s name (so no benefit doing online check in nor pre paying really). There was an issue with who was getting what room, they tried to charge me again for pre-paid room, and the wrong person ended up with the wrong room, but the staff would not fix it and said it was illegal …whatever, we didn’t care who got what so long as we each only paid for 1 room, once each. Anyway, doesn’t matter that much, but the staff member made a huge deal out of it….sigh, we didn’t care, we were fine to wait, but they insisted on going on about it. So the rest of us sat and waited in the foyer, until another staff member said our rooms were ready, why haven’t we check in yet? (this is less than 5 minutes after the first room check in kerfuffle). Sigh… but also hooray! We were happy to get our rooms after the small yet annoying drama. The rooms were fine, clean, small, comfortable enough. The bathroom is small. It is a budget hotel. No window in our room, that’s fine. Location ok, I know Singapore very well, so that was fine for me. About 5 mins walk to one mrt and about 10 mins to the other. If we had not have had the drama at check in, all would be fine. I would stay again if just me. It’s a bit small for a couple.

The room was big enough for the 2 of us. The room itself, cost and location were perfect for us for the 2 days of sightseeing and using as a base for just sleeping. The breakfast next door was good as well to start you off for the day. The staff (Dnroy/ Justin) were helpful and pleasant. Always pressing the button for the lift for you as you walk in so it was ready to go up pretty much as you got to it. Thank you for a great stay.

Justin and Simon on the front desk were both very friendly and helpful. The room was cozy but had what we needed for our short stay of two nights. It was clean and comfortable and well located.
