Stayed here for a total of 3 nights recently and we thought our stay was average. The room is clean but small (which was expected for a budget hotel at Singapore) Plenty of eateries and an amenity stall just beside the hotel, not to mention that MRT station is just 5mins walk away. Check in was simple and quick and the staffs were generally friendly and accommodating. Sound proof can be a nightmare- especially when you have loud guest speaking at the corridor past midnight P/S: most rooms have no windows so if you are not comfortable with that, please put a request for one during booking

Sweet spot budget hotel.

We visited here on a long layover, so we needed just a one night stay with just the basics at a good price, and Ibis Budget was just the thing. Easy check in, able to store luggage whine we toured the city ahead of the room being ready (safe and no cost). Easiest underground station is Little India which is a short and east 3 min walk away. Note: construction along this route in Nov 2023 but this is easily navigated as the pedestrian access is well set out and protected. Air con in the room worked fantastically! The staff were enthusiastic, competent and very helpful at every interaction and could not have been better. On a service level it felt like a 5-star hotel. Would not think twice about re-booking here next time. The constant 100% occupancy rate tells you that management really have hit the sweet spot here.

Good choice, inexpensive, clean and great location
A clean basic hotel in an excellent position, did not have breakfast as an option but lots of choice within walking distance. Near 2 train stations, SunTec city, a very large shopping centre within walking distance and The Big Red Bus Hopon Hopoff tour starting place.

This hotel location is very strategic. Around 3 mins walking to Bugis Junction and many eateries like steamboat, chinese food, dessert, etc. Right beside this hotel there is 7-eleven. There are few fending machines along the street to hotel. You can grab drinks and snacks conveniently. It is also take 3-4 mins to walk to Bugis MRT station too. I had totally two different experience between check-in and check-out. Upon check-in, I was greet by Mr. Jason with very bright and friendly smile. I was wonder whether I can check-in as I reach hotel few hours before check-in time. Mr. Jason told me it depends. After some checking, I’m so happy that Mr. Jason said my room is ready. And to be my surprise I didn’t get any charges for early check-in. I had experience with other budget hotel which they charge me over an early checking. Kinda shocking to me. I’m very grateful to Mr. Jason & iBis Bugis that allow me to do early check-in for free as I’m really very tired with my journey to Singapore. Finish registering Mr. Jason also show me where the lift. Totally great experience on my checking in. He is very friendly and professional. However, I have totally different experience upon my check-out. First, the reception guy didn’t greet or even smile when I say “Hi” and inform him I’m checking out and want to leave my luggages at hotel as I wanted to had my breakfast nearby. He just show me the “don’t-bother-face”. He said “Put your luggages there” and just pointed his finger to a corner in the hotel. Simply rude! To my surprise when I’m back to collect my luggages after breakfast, this guy was attending a male new guest very friendly. When it’s my turn that I told him I’m collecting my luggages, again his poker face pop-out. After remove the luggage tag he just walk off. I really don’t understand what makes the different of treatment. Gender of guest? Sorry, I don’t get his name as I’m too don’t bother to know a rude and bias receptionist. I can just simply Mr. Eyeliner.

Clean but uncomfortable and overpriced
The room is clean. As you would expect with an Ibis hotel, the cleaning ensures you feel like you feel you could sleep in one night there. There's suitcase stand one can place their suitcase. They held my suitcase until I came back and picked it up in the afternoon. However, the bed was very uncomfortable - a poor quality mattress on a slab of wood. The room was windowless. There was no soap provided, not even a wrapped product one could move to the sink, and the bodywash dispenser was away from the sink. It was $170SGD a night which is far too much for the experience. The first staff members I dealt with were rude and argumentative. I had booked through Accor's website and they claimed they hadn't got payment. I said i'd made it already, will you refund a double payment if that occurs and they would not say yes. Red flag. The one I dealt with in the afternoon was polite and friendly. So perhaps just the night staff are poor?
