The staff are super helpful and friendly. The views from the hotel are superb! This is the our first time staying at this hotel, but will definitely come back next year! The location is very good. It sits right above Raffles city. It’s very close to the MRT!

We stayed one night on a deal as normally stay next door at The Fairmont. The hotel is huge, busy & feels a little chaotic. We did love the lobby space though & the fabulous tea area. The room was nice, clean, has everything you need. The balcony door didn’t seal shut though so noise & wind leaked in. The view was incredible & location is perfect. Great for a flying visit.

The best hotel l've ever stayed in and my job is installation of machines all over the world so l'm traveling a lot.

I had a great experience at the swissotel the Stamford. Especially the room cleaning was very good and one of the cleaning ladies made the room so comfortable with nice shapes of the towels. Her name is Margaret khin yupar Htay and was so kind and helpful. The whole visit at this hotel is a pleasure and all the facilities are super amazing. Fully recommend on this hotel.

The good parts first: Personnel were great, especially at the check-in/out stations. They were warm and friendly. I had meals at the Brasserie and the Clove. Food and service was good. The room was richly appointed. with a clear sustainable theme. Nespresso was provided for a non-club/executive room which was commendable. I was put in a room above the 50th floor and the view from that height was nothing short of spectacular, especially at night. The head-scratching parts: The sofa as could be seen in the picture was placed right under the TV, making it impossible to watch while seated there. The room provided filtered drinking water which would have been a major plus. But the outlet was next to the sink in the toilet. I mistook it for the tap a few times. Folks do not usually take water from a place they wash their hands or spit, or collect consumables in the toilet. Pathumwan Princess in Bangkok put their filtered water outlet at the bar area, which makes more sense. The shower area had an opening that was not concealed and water tends to splash towards the toilet floor. I am not sure if I had a faulty balcony door but it was possible to lock the balcony doors without securing it tight, which was the state when I first entered the room. At such a height, wind kept gushing through the gap. To fully secure the door, I discovered too late that it was necessary to pull the door and push down the rollers at the handle area at the same time with some skills and strength. It could be due to air leaking in, but the air-con which had very modest strength could not effectively keep the room cooled, making it less comfortable than it could be. The room cards do not seemed to be programmed. I discovered by accident that I could access other floors. Not sure if this is a good thing. The bad part: Noise. There seems to be a serious problem with sound proofing in the room. I could hear my neighbours in the connecting room next door and the connecting door seems to be affected by the air pressure created by the opening and closing of balcony doors and creaks on its own. After checking in, I thought I could hear renovation sounds in the toilet, but it turned out to be housekeeping using a vacuum cleaner at the other end of the corridor. I wondered how the sound could have carried so far and so clearly. Knocking sounds from the room above and conversations along the corridor and connecting room were all clearly heard. When the din died down as everyone finally got to bed, the wind started howling through the gap of the balcony doors. I woke up startled, thinking it was a storm. This must be the noisiest room I have ever stayed in - worldwide. I would try elsewhere the next time.

Amazing location, great hospitality! Would recommend to get high floor with marina view room too. Hotel staff are also very responsive to all email communications. Close proximity to City Hall MRT and surrounding bus stops that connect to popular destinations are great too!
