Another perfect stay at the Fairmont

We visited the Fairmont at the beginning of November For my Birthday. The stay was faultless, from checking in to leaving. A special mention for Stephen and his team on the Gold floor who went above and beyond in looking after us. It's the little touches that count! This was our 4th visit to the hotel and we'll be back next year too.

We stayed in a Gold Room on the 7th Floor and recommend this choice. It meant we had peaceful breakfasts with views over to the Grand Mosque instead of going down to the busy restaurant on the lower level. Happy Hour drinks 5-7pm included free with tasty snacks also available 1-3pm. The staff on Floor 7 were very professional and we would like to particularly name Alfam and Christian for their excellent service. The room was a good size, comfortable bed, with an excellent shower. The young man who cleaned our room cleaned well but was a bit hit and miss about refreshing towels. The pool staff were excellent and looked after us very well - positioning umbrellas to block and allow the sun as required. We swam each day and my husband used the gym most days. Taxis are plentiful and cheap. The Grand Mosque was fantastic and The Louvre fascinating - the Mamluk exhibition was so interesting. I enjoyed the gold coffee experience at The Emirates Palace and watching the sun go down on Saadiyat Beach. We didn't visit Ferrari World because they were getting ready for the upcoming Grand Prix. Plenty to do next time when, hopefully, the Guggenheim will be also be open. Daily temperature 29-30 degrees, no rain and no mozzies. Perfect.

A big thank you to Rameez and the staff who took care of my every need. Although it is nice to be validated, remember what we are looking for in our external work is really where we are looking from in our internal world. (the external world is our second hand world our internal world is first class. We see that externally, what we are internally. The Fairmont is beautiful. My room was lovely and spacious, very clean. I got the peace, quiet and traquility I had been in need of to unwind. The food was nice but not really what I eat as my diet is organic fruit and veg and the options were extremely limited in the resturents has getting away from the man made products. But I am aware that this is very much normalised in business. Natures food outweights any man made stars by double for me. However, the breakfast bar was amazing with a plathora of fruit and drinks to choose from. Thank you for that.

First time in Abu Dhabi, on arrival we were welcomed by friendly staff. The hotel was very clean, we upgraded to a junior suite overlooking the creek. Beautiful room, one thing we really missed is a balcony. No rooms had them. Rafat was amazing during our stay, he went above and beyond to ensure our stay went smoothly. We ate in all the restaurants, service was good, but at times slow. Food was very good. The buffet has an excellent choice at breakfast and evening.
