I came to Ibis Abu Dhabi gate for business reasons. I found my room very clean, and I would like to give special thanks to Mr. Sachindu, I know he is the one of the staff who is taking care of this matter for the guests. He was very helpful and professional.

No Thrills

The room is clean, bed and pillows are comfortable. It's a no thrill concept, rooms are small so is the bathroom so is the television. Staff does an excellent job on cleaning and making up the beds, every night I returned it was as if I checked in as a newly arrived guest. Towels are way too big for this day and age. If you put a sign up, towels on the floor if you want them changed at least stick to your own rules. The hotel is a bit run down, carpets needs changing in the corridors. Parking is perfect directly under the hotel. Location convenient close to the airport and work location, a big shopping mall is close by as well. The joined breakfast and dinner facility with the neighbouring Novotel tower, is an excellent solution.

Exceptional work stay at Ibis Abu Dhabi Gate

I just came back from a business trip I will remember for good. I was looking for a hotel that offered a 1 BR apartment and I got exactly what I had been expecting. 1) We could work comfortably from the living room, with ample space for work conversations. 2) A refrigerator in the kitchen area was useful for stocking supplies of food. 3) An extra washroom for guests was apt. 4) The back of the hotel was facing a canal and I could sit and have a nice view, enjoy conversations and cool breeze in the evening, and do some work too during the early evening hours. 5) The room was overlooking the highway on one side and the canal on the other side, so I could get a good view from my room as well. 6) The hospitality of the staff was par excellence - from the reception, restaurants, housekeeping, concierge - everyone provided just the right service. 7) On request, the hotel staff guided us to the right restaurant, food options, sightseeing options, etc. 8) They also provided me with an ironing board and an iron on request. The one thing that they could do better on is provisioning body cream/moisturiser. I would call out the names of these individuals for their exceptional hospitality - Roshani, Quinter, Aung and Shilpa.

I would like to name Mr. M. Saleh for being generous during check in. A well considerate person. Would recommend stay here. Overall I would say that the location is also reasonable as this is near Sheikh Zayed masjid and not that far to Yas Island
