Considering the impeccable reputation of this hotel, I arrived with very high expectations…. and after 3 nights in a Palm Court Suite, I am convinced Raffles remains one of the greatest hotel experiences on the planet. The attention to every detail of the guest experience is beyond belief…. The entirety of this property is immaculate (interiors, architecture, gardens, bathrooms, restaurants, suite amenities, manager and all staff). In a way, this hotel shouldn’t be on trip advisor because it has very few peers and is in a league of its own. 10 Stars and a true life experience. My wife cried when we left (for real). Exceptional !!!

Our 3 nights at Raffles Hotel were the fulfilment of lifelong dream… I visited long bar for a Singapore sling in my 20s and wished I would come and stay with my future husband… 30 years later I did and it was everything I’d imagined and more. The impeccable service was the highlight of my experience although the gardens, architecture, history and cuisine are also exceptional, and I’m fussy. A true oasis in a beautiful city, I will fondly treasure memories of our stay.

My hubby & I booked in at The Raffles Hotel, Singapore for two nights. On the second day I went for a walk by myself, and when I returned to the hotel, I was greeted by a very rude employee at the front entrance. She stood before me and said "Can I help you??!!" in a not friendly tone. I have spoken to the management but they couldn't even tell me why I was spoken to that way.

I wanted to see this legendary hotel in Singapore although I didn't stay here. You can really imagine going back in time. So beautiful with the foliage. Visited the Longroom for a couple of drinks and peanuts. The only place you can litter in Singapore and throw shells on the ground. Although this is where the legendary Singapore sling was invented, I went for a Tom Collins which was amazing.

The grounds and architecture are absolutely stunning — rich with history yet immaculately maintained. The interiors are just as impressive, blending heritage charm with modern comfort. Staff were warm, professional, and attentive throughout. A special shout-out to Vikram at the entrance — he was so friendly and even remembered our names throughout the stay. We were really impressed by his hospitality. It was such a cool experience to stay somewhere so iconic, and I was pleasantly surprised by how modern and luxurious the facilities were (even the bathrooms!). A perfect mix of old-world elegance and contemporary ease.
