Firstly, never had such a bad experience and “refreshments” that were unwashed fruits (not cut) and a mere cake for a birthday celebration before. No effort there. When we went into the room, the air conditioning was so weak it made the entire room stuffy, and to my knowledge afterwards it’s to “save electricity”. Why would I pay $500+ for a room to save electricity? The room was so disappointing too. Apart from the view, nothing was good about the room. The toilet had dust, no bathtubs for a $500+ room, I can even hear my neighbours complaining about the room from next door! Not sound proofed at all. I was so distraught by this entire experience that it was the first time in my life I went home after dinner at Raffles City and decided not to stay over for the night. My partner and I rather stayed at home even though we paid for the night stay. Absolute horrible experience, will never come back again. Oh, paid for breakfast the next day, but so pissed off that we didn’t go back for it.

Good experience during our stay The view was amazing right at central view like marina bay, Special mention to Amelia at the front desk. I appreciated you very much. Another return visit to Swissotel and my first since the pandemic. As usual, the service from the staff in the Executive Lounge could not have been better. Attentive, courteous, unobtrusive, friendly. From check-in to check-out - with all the breakfasts and evening cocktails and nibbly bits in between, a big shout out to Laurence, Renan, Cheary and Kenneth! My room was, as usual, immaculate and comfortable. The only unfavourable peresonal comment I'd make is that, since their renovation, space is quite limited to store clothes. I was there for 5 nights and prefer to unpack my luggage into a dresser. However, it's a struggle to find enough drawers for this. Nevertheless, my stay was still enjoyable. Reaching the hotel from the airport is very easy on the East-West line, alighting at City Hall MRT Station. The hotel is then easily accessed from the station via Raffles City Shopping Mall. The mall has some nice shopping and an amazing variety of eating places. One can walk to many local attractions (National Gallery, Esplanade, Marina Bay, etc., via underground walkways and Citylink Mall. Other attractions are easily accessible via MRT from City Hall MRT East-West Line or North-South Line. I'll be back in Singapore early in the New Year and hope to stay there again if I can snag a reasonable rate; the prices now seem to be reaching the nosebleed section!

Very comfortable hotel in perfect location. You can open balcony doors for some nice humid air if you want a break from air con. It is a business hotel with good facilities and the breakfast buffet is very generous Best room service ever! Thank you Margaret!

As an ACCOR member, I was able to book a room at a fantastic rate through their Red Hot Rooms deal! The view was absolutely spectacular, overlooking Marina Bay Sands (MBS). The room itself was spotless, clean, and well-maintained. Plus, the convenience of the MRT station located in the basement made commuting incredibly easy. Overall, I had a truly enjoyable stay and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!
