The hotel is currently operating under a structured long-term maintenance and refurbishment plan, with ongoing works scheduled in phases to improve both room quality and overall facilities. Dear Nannan, Security deposits at check-in are standard practice across international hotel brands worldwide. This is clearly communicated during the arrival process, and our Front Office team consistently explains both the deposit requirement and the release procedure at check-out. Once the deposit is released from our system, the timeline for the funds to reflect back is dependent on the guest’s issuing bank. Processing delays are typically related to interbank procedures rather than hotel handling.
