We Came to Dubai for a business trip and decided to stay in Grand Mercure hotel but in the beginning we have faced a few minor hiccups with the hotel staff especially during the worst and slow check-in process. But however, the staff more than made up for that. Especially Puja and Mina from housekeeping provided us a great service throughout and made our stay really really comfortable. And last but not least please keep up your beautiful smile on always on your face Puja. Your smile is one's of the best smiles which I've ever seen till now. Once again Thank you to both puja and mina for making our stay wonderful and keep showing your professionalism at best in work. Thank you girls.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! Special thanks to Alaa at the reception — she was incredibly kind and professional. The hotel itself is new, very clean, beautifully designed, and has a stylish, modern vibe. Everything was just perfect — from the cozy atmosphere to the delicious food. Truly an amazing experience. Highly recommend!

Difficult checkin

I had a long layover between flights in Dubai. I actually had +/-18 hours between flights so i booked two nights so i could ensure an early check, +/- 09:00, and not have to wait for the normal check in at 15:00. I booked the hotel through the travel agency which i have used for years. Upon arrival at the hotel the check in clerk told me the “travel agent” had cancelled my reservations as i had not put down a deposit. I found this unlikely as the agency has my credit card on file however anything can happen so i asked if she had rooms available that i could pay directly for, to which she responded that i should contact my travel agency. I informed her that was unlikely to happen as my travel agent is based in the US and it would be midnight or so there. The check in clerk kept saying it was best that i contact the travel agent. After +/- 15 minutes i asked to see the manager, who upon arrival at the desk also seemed to not understand my request at first. After another +/-15 minutes they finally said yes there were rooms available and started the check in process. Negatives took 30 minutes to check in lamp at bedside and tablenot working Positive points friendly staff room/bed/bathroom appeared clean safe was in the room and working had a chair and small table to work on relatively close to airport
