We aim to make every guest feel at home from the very first moment. We're sorry to hear there were aspects of your stay that did not meet your expectations. Rest assured, our team prides itself on maintaining our historic building with modern amenities and it's unusual to hear of items not being restocked. Additionally, our housekeeping standards are designed to ensure a comfortable and visually appealing environment for all guests, which includes addressing any unexpected visitors of the insect variety. We'll be looking into the points you've raised to ensure they remain an exception. It's disheartening to hear about the mattress discomfort and the shower screen issue, as we usually receive compliments on our recently updated mattresses from 2018 and modern white bathrooms. We value your comfort and will certainly review these concerns. It's also worth mentioning that while we don't provide phones in rooms to maintain the building's historic charm, our 24-hour front desk is always ready to assist with any needs or requests. Hi Ms Thanks for leaving us this review of your recent stay. It's disheartening to hear that your recent stay didn't meet the high standards we strive for. We're truly sorry that the size and condition of your room were not up to par. Our aim is to provide a comfortable and welcoming environment, and it seems we missed the mark for you. Concerning the noise from the builders, we have had no building works taking place at the hotel so I am unsure of the disruption you are referring to in your feedback. We appreciate your patience with the lift situation and our team is always on hand to assist with any mobility issues. I hope you found the earplugs helpful against the city buzz; we're in the heart of Bristol, so it can get lively, especially on weekends. I'm sorry to hear about the issues with the lift and the delayed check-in; we always aim for promptness.
