Hello Emilyht, Thanks for taking the time to share your review. It seems like we've missed the mark during your stay, and for that, we're truly sorry. While we're glad you found our hotel’s location to be a highlight, we regret that other aspects did not meet your expectations. Our aim is for every guest to have a comfortable experience, and it seems we fell short in providing that for you. It's worth noting that we offer air conditioning in all rooms with individual controls, designed to ensure a pleasant temperature. We're surprised to hear about the issue with the main light and the hairdryer in your room – these should have been in perfect working order, and we'll definitely look into that. While our historic building does come with its unique challenges, we've invested in soundproofing measures, such as double glazing, to keep street noise to a minimum. We also provide earplugs for extra comfort. Regarding the tea and coffee provisions, we typically ensure there's enough for a cozy stay, and we're disappointed to hear this wasn't the case. We would have been more than happy to replenish these for you. We always strive to bid our guests farewell with a smile and a chance to provide feedback, and it's a pity we missed the opportunity with you. Our event spaces are designed to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and lighting is adjusted based on the type of event being hosted. And isn't it just a dream to stretch out on a comfy bed after a day exploring Bristol? Sounds like you had a good night's rest, which is what we always hope for. We're also super glad you found our staff welcoming and polite; they're the heart and soul of our hotel. However, I noticed you mentioned parking was £17 for 24 hours. Just to clarify, our parking is actually £15.00 per night. Maybe you found a secret spot we don't know about? Just kidding! We'll make sure this info is crystal clear for future guests.
