Great location for conferences

Great venue for business overnight stays and conferences. Always made to feel welcome and Lindsay and Alex do a great job organising the facilities and refreshments when the meeting is conference based. Room standards are good. Whilst the gym and pool are relatively small, it’s a nice opportunity to chill and relax after a work day or family day out. Water warm in pool so great for families to enjoy.

The hotel its nice and quite, has a bar Alexandra looked after me and my team the whole time we were there and she's gone above and beyond to accommodate us. She was very dedicated, kind and approachable. We appreciate it her and hope yo see her soon We would recommend then hotel for training events

3 day training event

Attended a three day training course with work. The hotel facilities were very good. Clean conferance room with complimentary access to the swimming pool and fitness centre if you want to unwind at the end the day. Alexandra was excellent hostess - regularly topping up water and snacks and always greated us with a smile

Quiet hotel with nice grounds and lovely staff

We used Mercure Daventry Court as a base for our multigenerational family holiday to visit several places in Warwickshire. Firstly, we really enjoyed the ambience and the out-of-city setting of this hotel. It seemed to have a friendly charm and all the staff were lovely. We noticed that the hotel have a special wing with what looks to be event rooms and whilst we were there over the Easter weekend, they seem to have also hosted a local meet in the lobby/bar area. We stayed in two rooms, one privilege room which accommodated two adults and a young child on the sofa bed, and a separate normal room. Beds in both room were excellent very firm (actually one of the best hotel mattresses we’ve slept on), rooms were reasonably spacious and housekeeping did a great job in cleaning the room and changing the towels when needed. We found the breakfast selection to be good and food too be of good quality. I especially appreciated being able to make a cup of lemon, ginger and honey tea with fresh ingredients. We also dined twice in the hotel’s restaurant and found the food to be tasty and reasonably priced for the setting - it was quite lovely to watch the sunset over the garden as we dined. We were able to use the pool, sauna and steam room for a supplement of £10. This was great after a long day out. The hotel inner courtyard was also quite nice for our young child to run around. Finally, extra stars to the staff especially to Kim (who attended us when we dined at the restaurant) and Keri & Iulia (who manages the buffet breakfast). Their friendliness really made our holiday special. To give a balanced view, the bathroom does look to be in need of some maintenance and was on the small side. As mentioned in some other reviews, the bathroom door had the veneer split at the bottom and paintwork poorly finished. However, this didn’t detract from our overall enjoyable stay and we would recommend the hotel to other visitors looking for a quieter out-of-city hotel with good facilities.

Good breakfast with many choices. Good service and good enviroment. Keri and Julia are very friendly. They introduced places where I can go to visit. Tell me how to go there. Recommended some places that only local residents know. Very good experience in this hotel.
