Went on coach trip for Xmas break , hotel was warm, rooms comfortable and serviced every day including 25th ! You were well staffed by people who knew what to do and got on with it ! We were served well by a lady called Kim B , she organised the young waiters , served all those seated at the round tables, all together, food came hot and we enjoyed a good choice every night . Xmas lunch was terrific, Thank you

Pretty dreadful

Stayed at this hotel Christmas 2024 and it was very good. Fast forward to Christmas 2025 and what a difference everything had gone downhill firstly the hotel was extremely cold and with five coaches of guests you would have thought they could have put the heating on. Each night in the dining room it was so cold and draughty that my wife went to dinner in a coat. We complained to reception and restaurant staff but nothing was Done the food was absolutely terrible (obviously changed the chef ) and the presentation reminded me of a transport cafe. The service was so slow between courses that we became disinterested with the whole meal. The entertainment was terrible and very amateur and a quiz every night over Christmas showed the lack of enthusiasm. Obviously we will not be going in 2026 and before you decide you might think this hotel is for you then think long and hard.

Really enjoy staying here. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. Kelli and co. in reception are always smiling when I walk in. Anelin, Ken, Iulia are always so helpful in the morning especially as I am always coming for a quick coffee and then I’m off to work. Also the night team are always so very helpful and friendly. Everyone seems to go out of their way to make my stay so friendly.

We came for a christmas event on Saturday 20th Dec. If I could give more than 5* for service I really would. We definatly rwcieved 10* service. Massive thanks to the staff who were not only helpful & friendly but also made us all laugh! Thanks to the lady on reception when we arrived who was wearing the gold crown. She was fab & very funny. We had a great team of servers for the event, all smiley friendly & helpful. And a big thank you to the breakfast team Keri & Julia (Hula) who really topped off our stay by being truly wonderful & hilarious. The food at the event and breakfast was really good. The hotel and the rooms were great, good size & had everything needed. Bed was big and comfortable.
