I stayed here for 7 nights, for the period 22/12/25 - 29/12/25 in Room 1222. The property itself is located a 5 min walk from the main shopping centres at Bukit Bintang, and probably a 10-15 min walk to the food street (Jalan Alor). I found the room to be large, comfortable and quiet. Bed was a king and very comfortable. Bathroom was large with a walk in shower as well as a bath. I found the staff to be helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much for them. Pool was quite large and got pretty busy. I also tried out the Spa which was good, and keep in mind they get heavily booked in the evening. I attended about 4pm so I was able to be seen straight away. I ordered food service one night and had the satay sticks and they were delicious. The best I had in KL! Breakfast was large with a lot of choices. Seeing that I stayed there on Christmas day, they also had a Christmas lunch (for an extra cost). I must say the choices were great and the same kind of lunch in Australia, would've easily cost AUD$400, that's how good it was. I also got my picture taken with Santa and one of his helpers! Overall, I highly recommend The Pullman and would easily stay there again.

Excellent Hotel, Disappointing Service Experience

My stay at Pullman Kuala Lumpur City Centre was a mixed experience. The hotel itself is very well located, the rooms are comfortable, and the overall ambience and facilities are exactly what one expects from the Pullman brand. Unfortunately, the service delivery did not match the quality of the property. Upon entering our room at check-in, we discovered a personal item of clothing belonging to the previous guest. While this was removed quickly once reported, it should never have been missed during housekeeping checks. More importantly, the reservations team had explicitly promised a birthday cake slice and note for my wife’s birthday on 31st December. Despite two reminders, this commitment was not honoured on the day. The cake was finally delivered only after the night had passed, which completely defeated the purpose and left me embarrassed in front of my wife. I am a professional travel advisor, and service standards play a crucial role in my recommendations. While the hotel has an excellent product, the lack of coordination and failure to honour confirmed guest requests seriously impacted our experience. I hope management takes this feedback constructively and strengthens internal service controls, as the hotel has strong potential if service consistency improves.

Great New Year’s Eve Buffet

We visited the hotel for the New Year’s Eve buffet, and it was a very pleasant experience. The atmosphere was festive and lively, perfect for celebrating the New Year. I would especially like to compliment Harris, who provided excellent service throughout the evening. He was very attentive, friendly, and professional, making sure we were well taken care of despite how busy it was. His warm attitude really made a difference and added to our overall experience. The buffet offered a good variety of food, and everything was well-organized even with many guests. Overall, it was a memorable way to welcome the New Year, and the service truly stood out.
