The Ibis Styles Hotel Makkah can be your best choice for a long stay near Al Haram, Makkah. I stayed here for 8 nights and had no complaints at all. The room was very spacious, the bathroom was clean, and the Wi-Fi was fast. The hotel provides a free shuttle to Al Ghaza Bus Station, running every hour, which makes the journey to Masjidil Haram easier and more comfortable. They also offer a nice breakfast for 35 riyals. There are many Turkish restaurants nearby, as well as minimarkets that sell special Arabian gifts, various dates, and other food and beverages. There is also a mosque nearby. We really loved staying here.

We stayed at hotel Ibis Styles Makkah for one night upon our return to Makkah. We were really impressed with how clean and new the hotel is. For context, we had stayed at a top 5* hotel close to the haram at the start of our trip and perform Umrah once a year. We did have to do two rooms for our party of four but it still cost us a quarter of the price I would have paid for a 5* local hotel quad room. The hotel had all the usual amenities. Tea/ coffee making facilities, body wash and shampoo. The beds were super comfortable and bedding was of a good standard. The only thing I’d like to mention is that the sink was quite small and made performing wudhu quite difficult. Now the location- we knew that this hotel was far and required a shuttle to get to the haram. The hotel provides a free shuttle on the hour to the haram. We had missed the shuttle and so had to take a taxi at prayer time. It was a hassle finding a taxi that was willing to take us close by but also the traffic makes the journey so long- however, they drop you quite close. It cost around 25SAR. On the way back, we struggled to find a taxi willing to take us back following prayer. We had to walk to the road outside Anjum hotel and after many attempts, found someone willing to drop us off. After prayer, we were either getting flat out no’s or were being quoted 80SAR. Unfortunately we did have to use an unlicensed taxi. Many taxi drivers do not even know where this hotel is so we wasted a lot of time showing them on google maps. We also decided to try the shuttle. It was a big clean coach and we managed to get a seat (we didn’t go at prayer time) and it dropped us off to Al Ghaza Bus Station which is by Ajyad street. The journey itself wasn’t too long however, the walk to the masjid was extremely long. In total it took us 30 minutes. We are both in our 40s and in generally good health but we found it quite tiresome. By the time we got to the entrance of the masjid, we were already exhausted. Taking 30 minutes at 2am is excessive. I really really like the hotel but unfortunately for me, it’s too far. It was extremely cost effective but I’m not sure if I could get used to the travel to and from the masjid.

Allure et architecture d'hôtel est bonne mais plusieurs points négatif dans cet hôtel que je le souligne or malgré que je suis à l'heure de chek in (15h00) mais la réception m'informe que la chambre non prête et après plus que 45 mn il me donne une carte d'accès qui ne marche pas et de retour à la réception pour réparer ou changer la carte alors ca ce le ko puisque je reste en attente plus que 15 mn pour contacter le personne (master) qui règle les problèmes de carte d'une part . d'autre part le programme du navette n'est pas adéquat .

Nous y avons sejourné 2 nuits, le rapport quaité prix est tres correct. les receptionnistes sont courtois et à l'ecoute du client; meme si je n'en dirais pas autant du manager que nous avons vu et qui ne nous a si salué ni calculés durant notre séjour. La chambre est plutôt petite mais bien agencée avec beaucoup de rangements, bouilloire et mini bar a disposition. La literie est très bien et les draps très doux. L'insonorisation est assez bien également, même si on entend légèrement le bruit du Traffic coté rue. la salle de bain est par contre assez spartiate. nous avons testé le petit déjeuner le premier jour mais il est assez basique avec très peu de choix, donc nous n'y sommes pas retournés le lendemain. un service de navette assure la liaison avec le Haram, mais cela reste très éprouvant physiquement car le bus dépose loin du haram et il faut compter ensuite une bonne dizaine de minutes de marche a bon pas pour atteindre les premières extensions du Haram. Quand vous êtes au Haram, profitez en pour acheter à manger et faire vos courses dans le centre commercial de la tour de l'horloge, car très peu de choix proche de l'hôtel. En résumé, si vous ne souhaitez pas investir un gros budget dans l'hôtel, celui ci est très bien et d'un meilleur rapport qualité prix que le Violet Aziziyah par exemple qui est beaucoup plus cher, allez y sans hésiter les standards Accor sont bien la.
