A hotel's success or failure is based on two criteria, in my opinion. One, the product and two, it's staff. Having one without the other, or not having both, is a failure. I'm currently staying at this Ibis and I am an ALL member and stayed in over 30 Ibis hotels across Europe, along with other hotel brands in the group. Until staying here, I had not come across a successful hotel, but so happy to say that the Ibis Canning Town, is a success on both its product and its staff. A big thank you to Thibaut who greeted us with warmth and professionalism, which set the mood and indeed, thereafter for every other member of staff was equally brilliant and welcoming, in a natural way and not forced. Extra mention to Dan on reception, what an amazingly professional guy, but in a way that makes you feel you've been friends for years. It was like being in their own home. As for the product, WoW, this Ibis is outstanding in every way and mainly due to the staff being so amazing. The whole hotel is clean and in top condition, with a great retro feel and relaxing. The room is typically modern Ibis, but everything works perfectly, including the shower and air conditioning, which is rare for any hotel. The bed, well it may be coming home with me!! Do I like this hotel, NO, I LOVE IT! Thank you to all and I'll now continue my holiday and continue loving my stay here and book all future London trips to stay at Ibis Canning Town.

We stayed at the Ibis Hotel over Christmas, and it was a very comfortable and enjoyable experience. The location was incredibly convenient, situated right next to a bus and train stop with easy access to London’s city center. The atmosphere was charming and quirky, beautifully decorated for the holiday season, which added a festive touch to our stay. The bar lobby offered fantastic deals on espresso martinis and other drinks, and the 24-hour pizza service was a unique and delightful perk. Our room, though small, was perfectly suited for a couple—clean, cozy, and visually appealing. Overall, it was a great stay, and we’d happily return!

Really Great Overnight Stay

Great Hotel. The rooms though not the biggest are very clean and comfortable. Great bed, shower, A/C, and TV. The WiFi worked fine, and we got a view over Canning town and the River. It even smells nice through out the hotel! The hotel is situated directly opposite Canning Town station which is really handy to get around London. Downstairs is a bar/restaurant. Breakfast is what you expect. A buffet with both Full English, alongside Fruit, Cheese, pastries, cereal etc. No complaints here very nice. In the evening there is a very laid back "chilled" atmosphere. The food/drinks prices aren't extortionate at all. However there isn't a massive choice for food. We ended up going for a pizza which in all fairness was very good. If you were staying more than a couple of days though you would probably end eating elsewhere in the evening. The only other minor gripe with the restaurant is it can be tricky to get a table. People do seem to stay for drinks for a fair while, but why wouldn't you ? Its a nice place to hang out!
