Friendly, helpful staff. Nice Christmasy atmosphere. Comfortable rooms. Showers might be small if you are a big person. Hotel parking reasonable at £48 for 48 hours. Check out not until 12 which was handy. Breakfasts were good. Again friendly staff. Great location. Used Thames Clipper service to get into centre.

Just awful. The strong airfreshner hit you as soon as you enter. Very unpleasant, i have never encountered such in any hotel. The stench followed you up the stairs and could be smelled in the corridor. The room welcomed us with a very stale unpleasant odour. There were white footprints on the carpet outsde the shower room, obviously been painted at some point and not bothered to clean up the paint prints. No extractor in shower room. Poor lighting Duvet smelled unclean, as you laid beneth it🤢, ?.old sweat or feet. Could be in part why room was so smelly. Slept with window open for this reason but it made no difference. .

Regarding the carpets, we apologize for the stains you noticed. These are not paint marks but older stains that unfortunately could not be removed despite thorough cleaning efforts. We are pleased to share that we are in the process of replacing carpets throughout the hotel, with 80% of our rooms already completed. We remain committed to completing this initiative soon. The issues with the room odor, cleanliness, and the condition of the duvet are not acceptable: this is quite odd considering the way our housekeeping team works. Also, please note that the extractor fan is automatic in all building: not hearing it does not mean it does not work! The system is different compared to what we commonly use in our houses. We strive to provide a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment, and it is disappointing to know we fell short during your stay. We hope you will consider giving us another opportunity in the future to provide you with the positive experience you deserve. Wasn’t sure whether 3 or 4 to be honest! Friendly staff but my sweet room was nothing to write home about and the desk was SO near the bed!My tv didn’t work and I know I could have told them but I was b tired by then. Clean room and the bed was fine. The restaurant next door was fun! I’d stay there again if I could get a good price.

VERY SMELLY, SMALL AND NOT WORTH THE PRICE

Don't let the nice welcoming reception with a pleasent scent fool you. The rooms are very small, with no chair and no air conditioning. They absolutely STUNK of sewerage, no wonder the cleaners left the window open every day. This was a hotel wide problem as I heard others in the lift talking about the bad smell in thier room. The bathroom is so dark, it's dangerous when showering. There are no lights for makeup or personal care. There was no hairdryer in the room either, but asked at reception and they gave us one. Rooms were however cleaned each day....shame they didn't have any air freshener to mask the bad smell. The restaurant was not open, with people being redirected to a 'neighbour' hotel. Luckily the area around had plentiful bars/restaurants/cafe. Will not stay again.

This was due to third-party electrical works, and we had arranged for breakfast at our nearby sister hotel as a temporary solution. We understand the inconvenience and are pleased to share that the kitchen is now fully operational.
