It's clear that hospitality is not the business for the people running this hotel. To summarize, I had a problem with my reservation through booking.com and Anna, from the front desk, basically said, in the rudest way possible, that I had made a mistake, that it was my fault, that I had to pay for my mistake and that I was lucky she still had a room for me and my boyfriend (don't know if that was a problem for her). Needless to say we didn't feel welcome, and left. Run from this hotel as fast as you can.

A true disgrace to accor name. I’ve booked both ibis styles wrongly. My siblings stayed in ibis milano and I am separated from them. Walking all the way from milano train station after a 15 hours flight and a back pain. My siblings walk me to the hotel and helping with my heavy luggage. While checking in, the staff saw my siblings and rudely said the room is meant for 1 person. I told him yes, I am staying alone but my brother is helping me to bring my luggage up with me. The staff said he will help me which I gladly agree. - He took one bag and place it in front of the elevator and left, leaving me stunned as I drag everything up myself, feeling very unwelcome and rude by his behavior. While the owner told me, “we have an elevator, even a 9 years old can carry their own luggage, why can’t you?” The staff have his own eyes to see that I am carrying two huge luggage, weighing 30kg and 15 kg respectively, a heavy bag pack and some necessities my siblings have pass me as I arrived late at 10pm. And also, my status allows me to check out very late usually, so I request for just 1 hour just in case even though I may not need to. Instead of saying nicely, staff ask me to come back that day and check, he don’t know. After 2 days, I emailed and decided to cancel my reservation which I did for next month but was declined. Owner scold me for being a “Jesus” that won’t do anything wrong, everyone in the world is in fault except me. His staff is the best and will never do anything wrong. I check out 1 day before completing my stay at 3pm and he said we are so nice to allow you to check out late until he realise he made and mistake and kept quiet. I have stayed in accor properties for more than 180 days in year 2022, am currently a Diamond member too. I am not using my status to overshadow any issue but It is, definitely the worst ever service I’ve received in a hotel that made me left. And I have forgo the few hundreds euro for the next month booking too, JUST TO NOT COME BACK AGAIN. While leaving, I did mentioned to them that the restaurant is not available and under renovation, why is not mention in the email or website when I’m booking too? And the owner reply - “ there are so billions of people in the world, we cannot inform everyone or pleased all of them”

Noisy rooms smelling like mould. Light sensor in the bathroom does not work properly and the lights turn off when you are taking a shower. Not the best front service you can get. Please review all the recent comments, since I can confirm most of them are true!! Good location but not worth it..a disappointment in terms of Ibis standards

Reception desk friendly and spoke excellent English. A strange designed hotel, with rooms on the ground floor right next to the lift. Not enough plug sockets in room. Also, the bathroom light was on a timer that stayed on if the sensor picked up you were in there, but did not sense I was in the shower so the light kept going off until I opened the shower door.

My handbag was stolen at their coffee shop at breakfast, literally within 2 seconds of my getting up to get a spoon behind me. I was alone at the time. Hotel gave me contact numbers of my consulate and banks but refused to show me CCTV footage, even though they confirmed seeing me in CCTV footage. I lost my passport, cash, bank cards and a few valuables. When I filed a report at the police station, the police told me it was up to the hotel to show me the CCTV footage. A major theft happened in the hotel in broad daylight but they had no interest to find out and tell me what happened. They just wanted to wash their hands off the matter. I suspect it was a common occurrence and I don't know if the theft was an inside or outside job. Maybe the hotel knew anyway. In fact after I returned to the hotel later that day after frantic visits to my consulate to get an emergency passport and the police station, the reception refused to let me talk to the manager in charge and told me they were in charge and no one else was available which was clearly a lie as she said so after going to the back office. Truly a nightmare! I wrote to Accor head office after the trip but Ibis Milano Centro answered and said they already helped with getting me the contact numbers and checking the rubbish bins and there was nothing more they could do.
