Nice hotel, clean, quiet and lots of little extras which are useful particularly if your travelling light. Staff were helpful and polite. Our Tv didn’t work and they have no panel control, all on the remote. Someone had taken the battery out, rang reception and requested, but not actioned. Bit frustrating. All in all would happily stay there again.

Dear Kay A., Thank you for your review! We're pleased to hear that you found our hotel clean, quiet, and well-equipped with useful extras. It's great to know that our staff were helpful and polite. Easy check-in, nice room, clean bathroom with good shower, complimentary coffee. Location ok if you need to be close to Paddington, but quite remote from the heart of London. Quite expensive for what is on offer.. but that's London I guess ...

Dear Astrid A., Thank you for your feedback! We're pleased to hear that you enjoyed the easy check-in, nice room, clean bathroom, and complimentary coffee. We understand that our location may not be ideal for everyone, but we hope the convenience to Paddington was helpful. We appreciate your understanding regarding the pricing and hope to welcome you back in the future. Kind Regards, Imed Chikhaoui

Mark_MichelleHull TripAdvisor review

This stay of 2 nights was booked as an Xmas London visit surprise. It certainly was as my wife sorted the booking and also my son and his partner who had stayed 3 times before and recommended it to her. Once the Tube trip was sorted out and a few wrong turns before we arrived at Sussex Gardens the traditional Victorian looking building in a lovely open garden Cul-De-Sac didn't disappoint. Cold, tired and a bit tetchy after a difficult journey, the smart sharp welcoming decor of the reception and the efficient well presented receptionist soon filed off the sharp edges and we were directed to our 5th floor "cosy room" The lift, smart and quick 3 person occupancy up to a narrow corridor 5th floor which is in fact encroaching on the high buildings roof space which our sloping walls confirmed took us to our room. Key card entry as is standard new opened a door to a well, but bijou appointed room. Good use of 2 huge glass sliding doors hiding the wardrobe and facilities area which consisted of Iron, kettle, plenty of tea, coffee, chocolate and milk portions and a FREE minibar. One small, but very welcome chilled bottle of Cava was waiting to greet us and the flutes ready to be filled. Next to the cava were 4 cans of Coca Cola, 2 cartons and water and 2 cartons of fresh (and very nice) orange juice. Shower room, clean and complemented with the usual shampoo and shower gel as well as a range of Hygiene accessories such as shower caps, razors, toothbrushes and slippers. The Shower Power was hot and as spot on as the fluffy towels Lovely soft beds and fresh linen, huge TV, good selection of lighting options from bed lamp to flood to spotlight. The Restaurant and Breakfast location was not as good. Breakfast in the Italian eatery, a short walk through the hotel was a bit his and miss. Expensive (even for London) compared with the below average quality left us a little baffled as to how the two could be connected. Erratic service given that our breakfast tea arrive well into our food service which was luke warm but was delivered incorrectly the first time. One of the service staff had a bit of an attitude whereas he was more bothered with his "look and self indulgent preening" than he was in doing his job. The other downside was the room service. We were woken up the first morning by a cleaner and told she needed to clean the room (9:30 am). We told her we were not ready. Later the same day and despite the "DO NOT DISTURB" sign was on, she actually just opened our door and walking in, to bring us 2 cartons of water she forgot to refill the minibar bar with. I was sat in my underwear. "So what's the point of a DO NOT DISTURB sign I asked myself. The next night she did the same but this time the door stop lever was on. She knocked this time at apx 8pm (DO NOT DISTURB sign STILL ON) just to ask if we were happy with the room cleaning. Hotel superb, Food not so, Room cleaning staff need training.

We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed many aspects of your stay, especially the welcoming reception, the cozy room, and the thoughtful amenities like the complimentary minibar and hygiene accessories. The overall experience was good. The location and cleanliness of the hotel were good, however the hotel was very loud. The rooms were very close to the very slow elevator which made it a non peaceful and loud place at night.

Dear Saleh M., Thank you for your feedback! We're glad to hear that you appreciated the location and cleanliness of our hotel. We apologies for the noise and inconvenience caused by the proximity to the elevator. Your comments are valuable to us, and we'll work on improving the soundproofing and elevator speed to ensure a more peaceful stay for our guests in the future. We hope to welcome you back soon. Kind Regards, Imed Chikhaoui
