Ideal location for exploring the Old Town

Really well located hotel - ideal for exploring the Old Town. A short 15-20 minute walk to where the Walking Street Market takes place. Nice to be just out of the centre at night as it was nice and quiet at the hotel. Room was clean and had everything we needed. The rooftop bar was really nice and our children loved the pool. Great breakfast too. The staff were very friendly and helpful - was easy to sort taxis for onward journeys etc.

This is a fantastic hotel. The rooms were clean and spacious. The staff were helpful, efficient and courteous. The management was professional and highly competent. While located slightly further from the central tourist area of Phuket City (compared to Marriot Courtyard particularly), the location of this hotel was ideal to access the restaurants/street food that locals actually eat at and get away from the tourist traps. There were plenty of convenience stores nearby, with massages shops, pharmacies and ice-cream shops all within walking distance. I would highly recommend this hotel and I would not hesitate to stay here again.

I cannot recommend Novotel City Phuket highly enough. Our family of 18 had an unforgettable experience, and from start to finish, the hotel exceeded all expectations. The staff were truly outstanding—going above and beyond to accommodate our every need and ensuring we were cared for every step of the way. The hotel location is great—just a short walk to the vibrant shops of Old Phuket Town, and with a local morning market right next door offering fresh, delicious fruits. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Paul, the manager, and despite the size of our group, the check-in process was seamless and efficient. During our stay, we celebrated two of my nieces' birthdays, and the hotel made it extra special by decorating their rooms and arranging a beautiful cake. A wonderful surprise awaited my nieces at the bar on Level 17, where the team organized a beautiful dinner for our group of 18, complete with a second cake to continue the celebrations. If you visit, don’t miss the rooftop bar—it offers breathtaking views and fantastic drinks, making it the perfect spot to unwind. A huge thank you to all the hotel staff, especially Paul, Apple, Maimoon, Mam, JoeJoe, Nui, and New for your exceptional hospitality. You made our stay unforgettable, and we’re already looking forward to returning!
