The trip was amazing…the place is beautiful and the service provided to us right from our arrival to departure was hassle free as we were being assisted by our guide MR.ASIF..He made sure we were comfortable and helped us with the transferring process.

We stayed at Pullman Maldives for our honeymoon together with our parents (three rooms, six guests). Unfortunately, the overall experience was well below expectations, especially for a five-star, all-inclusive resort and such a special occasion. Positives first: The island itself is stunning, with beautiful nature and a great reef. The beach villas are spacious, clean and perfect for relaxing. The Italian restaurant stood out with excellent food, very good drinks and friendly, professional service. The Sunset Bar offers a nice atmosphere and enjoyable evenings. However, the negatives clearly outweighed the positives: • The honeymoon package was not prepared upon arrival and was only partially provided after repeated complaints. Nothing felt proactive or special. • We were repeatedly denied access to outdoor seating at the buffet restaurant, often without clear explanations. On several occasions, terrace doors were locked, once even behind us after leaving. This was particularly frustrating, as outdoor dining is one of the main reasons to visit the Maldives. • Communication via the app and email was slow and inefficient. Simple requests required multiple follow-ups. • Room cleaning was inconsistent and, in some cases, done very late in the evening despite early requests. • The resort is advertised as all-inclusive, yet food at the pool bar during certain afternoon hours was not included, leaving no complimentary dining option during that time. This felt misleading. • Staff often appeared overworked, understaffed and unmotivated, and some interactions were perceived as unfriendly or inappropriate. • Acting management was defensive and dismissive, with no apologies offered and little willingness to acknowledge guest concerns. • Buffet food selection was repetitive, and we had concerns about hygiene at some stations. What disappointed us most was the feeling of not being genuinely welcome. For a honeymoon and for the price paid, we expected warmth, attentiveness and a significantly higher level of service. In summary: a beautiful island with some excellent facilities, but service quality, communication and guest experience do not meet five-star, all-inclusive standards. Sadly, this was a disappointing honeymoon experience, and we would not recommend the resort in its current state.

Pullman maldives is truly beautiful, and the service, food and drinks are top notch. We had an amazing time on our honeymoon - highly recommend Souq Oven and Saffron Affair amongst all the restaurants available. Kola the bar manager and Kasun the bartender made us the most magnificent cocktails! Just ask him to surprise you, and you will for sure be amazed. Saffron Affair in particular had the best vibes. Both the water pool villa and beach villa are excellent options - recommend splitting your trip between the two! Would for sure visit again :)

I debated whether to give this place a 4 or a 5 star review but settled on 5. The location is sublime. I loved the island and the beautiful paths winding through the lush tropical vegetation. Our overwater villa was large and well appointed and very well maintained. Possibly not “luxe” but very smart. The food was generally good. But if you go make sure you book Phat Chameleon and Souq Oven beforehand or you’ll miss out. Thankfully we had an island host (I thought everyone had one but apparently not) who arranged everything for us beforehand. Aussies take note - the coffee is truly awful. But we are spoilt. Speaking of the island host, Hassan was brilliant and made everything a breeze. Thank you Hassan Another staff member who deserves praise is Suraj in the Melange restaurant. So attentive and earnest. And he worked so hard. Thank you Suraj for looking after us. The “all inclusive” thing was new to me. It seems to work well, but the barmen are slow to pour - but will if you ask. But of course one shouldn’t have to. A minor gripe. In general the staff are all so helpful and caring and it seems they love their job. They clearly aim to make your stay memorable and we appreciated all of them. Overall I’d say this place is awesome if you want to get away from it all.
