Rahuls massage was AMAZING! The resort was incredible; this place is literally paradise. Pain to get to but the staff made it as seamless as possible. Kooddoo airport was closed so it took an extra long speedboat to get here (1hr after an 1hr hopper flight). Ocean villa was perfect - mini bar stocked daily. Rent the bikes ($10/day) to get around. The snorkeling is stellar. There are literal sharks, turtles and rays swimming underneath your villa! No bugs at all. Everyone speaks so softly here - as a loud American this took some getting used to 😅 Food at the buffet is diverse and interesting for an AI (duck, lamb, crab, lobster, omelette and pasta stations, dim sum daily). They have a great selection of Scotches at the bar. All sorts of fancy drinks. Red Bulls on request. Live music by the pool most nights. Sheesha for $50. I never want to leave.

Overall, it was a pleasant stay and good value for money. We have previously stayed at the Intercontinental Maldives last year and were eager to compare both facilities. In comparison the Pullman was a lot more difficult to get to, a long flight from Male then an even longer boat ride, although this appeared to be out of the Pullman's control due to problems with the regular airport. This information was not conveyed to us until the day before by receiving an email. Apparently, the regular airport has been at a very reduced capacity for some time, so it would have been nice to know this well before our arrival. Communication at the Male airport by Pullman representatives wasn't that great. Initial greeting and ushering thru the airport to the lounge was great and then it fell apart from there. Originally, we were told we may be able to leave a lot earlier as all guests were there. The food on offer was ok for a short stay, but not an extended one. After a while we have not been contacted by anyone and noticed that some of the other Pullman guests were not in the lounge area. We decided to go downstairs to investigate and found a few of the guests had checked into their flights. 1 of the Pullman representatives apologized for not contacting our group of 4, but they had 4 other people in line that were not going to the Pullman. Eventually we left after being delayed past our original departure time, again a lack of communication as to what was happening and where to board. On arrival at the airport, we were greeted and communication was great. We knew exactly what was happening. I was not expecting to have such a long boat ride, again this was apparently out of the Pullman control due to airport issues. I was wondering how passengers would have coped with any back related issues as the boat ride was anything but smooth. At this stage I was regretting my decision not returning to the Intercontinental. Eventually arriving at the Pullman long after our original expected arrival time, we were greeted well by staff. I don't remember the name of the concierge that greeted us, took us to our room and checked us in. She appeared to be great with her explanations. She told us to meet her at the reception the next day at 11am and she would give us a tour of the island. We also had this at the intercontinental which was very informative with locations of all items of interest helping navigate our way around, so we agreed to it. We arrived at the reception as request the next morning only to find our concierge not there. After a few minutes we approached staff and advised why we were there. They made some calls and about 10 mins later someone came in a buggy to give us a tour. The tour was useless, it lasted all of 12 mins and was at warp speed, most of the time was spent trying to hang on. This person obviously was called in at the last minute wasn't interested and had other things to do. We left this tour not knowing anything about the island or locations of the important things. We ended up exploring the island ourselves with a few wrong turns here and there. The location of our room was perfect. The room itself was exceptional, very clean, well laid out and had everything you could ask for. The outdoor shower was fantastic, didn't use the indoor one. The gardens/grounds around the rooms fantastic. The only thing was the mini bar wasn't topped up twice daily as advertised. Infact once wasn't topped up at all. We advised reception as was told this is something we have to request. After this initial request we didn't have to ask again. Restaurants/food were fantastic. The choices were great and plenty. The chefs/kitchen hands - happy to explain everything and cook what you want. All-inclusive food/beverages is a great service. The house reef was great although a bit of a swim to get there. Service overall was fair, apart from 3 of the bar staff at the hub who were exceptional. Leaving the island was a short boat ride, this time to their usual airport. Another delay here then we fly out. We then land at the same airport we arrived at. This is something we were not advised of; we were told we were flying to Male. At this stop some of the passengers were getting off only to be told to get back on as this wasn't the Male Airport, again I suppose this wasn't a Pullman problem. Overall Pullman is a nice place to stay and great value for money, they need to work on their communication and service. In saying this I would probably stay here again. As a comparison, Intercontinental with friends last year tipping was $400, Pullman we struggled to spend $100 for service.

Great amenities with all inclusive. Wine quality could be better. Too many upsell by staff. SUP location is not on a great spot due to tide and current.
