So first off, The bathrooms did not have body wash, shampoo or conditioner. Also tell me why THERE WAS BLOOD ON THE COMFORTER AND PILLOWS! It’s like all someone did was remake the bed and not wash it. I then asked for a new set and they came 30 min later at 12. Then gave wrong blankets. Would not stay there again

HORRIBLE! ROOMS VIBRATE WITH HOUSE MUSIC PAST 2AM!

DO NOT STAY!! THE WALLS VIBRATE WITH BASE AND CONSTANT HOUSE MUSIC UNTIL 2AM!!! This really is a large rooftop nightclub that happens to have 3 floors of rooms directly below. We were on the 4th floor and we might as well have been on the rooftop. There is NO BUFFER to the noise. They actually have ear plugs at the front desk. This is false advertising because the listing does not make it clear that you are actually directly below a nightclub that will go loud until 2AM. I had my noise reduction headphones on plus white noise music pumped through when I was trying to sleep and I could still hear everything through them. This is very misleading. If you are there to party at this hotel, then it might be for you. Otherwise, not only will you be dealing with the night club, you will also have folks drunk and loud shouting through the halls well past 2am too.

I stayed here for 2 nights this week. The location is great- one block from Hollywood Boulevard so ideal for sightseeing and visiting bars/ restaurants. Check in wasn't great- very slow and the lady on the front desk was very unfriendly. No acknowledgement of ALL status. There are only 2 elevators, both of which are very slow and there were often long waits. My 2nd floor room was very clean and spacious. The bed was really comfortable, the linen was particularly nice. The ensuite was modern and functional. Housekeeping was a bit lacklustre - on the first night there was no shampoo or conditioner, on the second night, no toiletries whatsoever. The decor wasn't to my taste but it's certainly quirky. There's no coffee maker available, nor anywhere to get one except in the restaurant. The downstairs bar was pleasant although it doesn't on Monday or Tuesday nights. The rooftop is a lovely space with good views and friendly service. It would be nice to have at least one of the bars open later on weekdays. However, the cost for food/ drinks is extremely high even for Hollywood and they add a service charge as well as a health fee (what even is that?) which was also added to the room rate as a tax. All in all, my stay was OK but I don't think I'd return or visit another Mama Shelter based on this experience.

Terrible sleep due to rooftop party. Receptionist didn’t care at all

A rooftop party kept us up until 2am and for some reason the bathroom extractor fan was very loud and wouldn’t shut off… when I told the receptionist in the morning she didn’t care at all, even after noting that my girlfriend is pregnant so we had to sleep in and miss the chance to see a friend.

Send the email to hotel to request quiet room but never got replied. Music play until 2 am. Music is too loud, and bass shakes the room... Water in refrigerator was opened and used... disgusting!! Only provide 1 small tiny soap, no body wash or shampoo? stayed here for 3 nights and they didn't give me new soap after housekeeping? Terrible stay!!
