Hotel is not a problem; my gripe is that breakfast in the restaurant I paid for was not available as there was a large group booking (I believe it was Amway China for a total on month) . Breakfast as served in the lounge one morning did not even have normal hotel/airline average at best scrambled eggs. No cooked to order eggs were available at all. The rest of the food was fair (at best) but only a very much reduced range of choice. Seating was also at a premium in the lounge. Excuse me for being cynical, however I truly did feel gazumped.

前台工作人员都很友善。房间应该是重新装修过，连各个角落都很干净，家具非常舒适！洗手间的水龙头我超级喜欢。床垫和枕头非常舒适！我的大床是两张单人床拼在一起，中间的缝过于明显，实际上我只能睡在床的一半边。我的房间和隔壁房间中间有扇锁着的门，隔音不好，能听见隔壁客人咳嗽、说话。空调声音很大，风速调到最低还是有明显声音，我只好彻底关了空调睡觉，还好不热也不闷。房间没有免费的水（我本以为五星级酒店都有），一开始也没有拖鞋，我给concierge打电话后立刻安排了人送来。夜里洗完澡我才发现没有梳子。

My daughter and I stayed there for 1 night to attend an event in the Rod Laver Arena in March. Overall the stay is comfortable as the room is of decent size, the bed and pillows are comfortable, and the room has a nice view too ( except the glass of the hotel windows are quite dirty and that’s a pity ) . It was within walking distance from Rod Laver Arena and MCG, and not far from CBD too, so the location is good. However I was a bit surprised at the lack of some essential toiletries, like tooth brushes, slippers etc that I would have expected to see in a 5 star hotel. This is really inconvenient for travellers - because I thought it was a 5 star hotel I didn’t pack these items as I like to travel light. The carpet also does not feel very clean, so I really wish the hotel provided disposable slippers. In addition the breakfast at the hotel were only just ok. The food choices are very standard but the congee was the worse congee I have ever seen in my life - it was so diluted it virtually was only white liquid with a few grain of rice in it, and with all the wrong condiments provided at the side. But the price of breakfast is good (only $35 per person), so I guess I shouldn’t complain too much. It would have been a perfect stay if the hotel paid attention to these small details as it did impact my overall impression and experience of our stay.

What a wonderful place to stay. The staff were brilliant - nothing seemed to be too much trouble from them and incredibly helpful. Check in was a breeze. The bedroom was large, clean with really comfy beds. The breakfast is great and the bar meals are really hearty.
