I was on a tour of Poland and we stayed here for 3 nights. I also added an extra night. The room was comfortable although somewhat small. The bed was firm and the breakfast buffet was good. It is a 10-15 minute walk to the Old Town area and there us a large shopping mall across the street.

Small beds, small room, strange decor.

Very small bed, which they called a Queen but was a double. We are tall and thin but used to a much larger bed, so sleeping was difficult. We asked to be away from the street side, but she put us there anyway and refused to look for another room even though we were checking in at noon. We heard the trams until late at night and before 0600 in the morning. Nice breakfast buffet and bar but a long walk from the Old Town. Would choose another hotel closer to the Old Town if we go again. Also, they sprayed so many scents around the hotel, lobby and even bookshelf, it was overwhelming with all the strong odors.

This is a super accessible hotel - very close to one of the main train stations, two big tram/bus stations very close by and a busy taxi service outside the entrance. The hotel rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly and very professional. Breakfast buffet is good and the menu for the evenings is really good. Also a huge shopping mall right across the street if you are into that sort of thing. A very easy walk to the old town. Loved my stay.

Fantastic! The location is unbeatable – just steps away from the Main Square and all the key attractions. What really made my visit unforgettable, however, was the incredible front desk staff. From the moment I arrived, they made me feel genuinely welcome. They were not only professional and efficient but also warm, friendly, and always willing to go the extra mile. Thank You!

Booked flights to Krakow and opted to stay at Mercure Stare Miasto, as it was perfectly located to Galleria Krakowska and train/bus station. We booked direct thru’ Accor. Arrived late evening, wonderful welcome by staff in traditional costume and given a chocolate each (plus avbagel on checking out). We were given Rm 115 overlooking the galleria. According to website we should have had a coffee machine and bathrobes, however neither were provided. To be fair, this was the only thing I could fault. Booked breakfast for our 3 night stay, at the hotel for ease. Plenty of choice tho’ not really what hubby liked. I was ok with bread rolls and croissants. Location is perfect and we found Krakow to be a wonderful, clean and friendly city, with beautiful architecture and amazing history. We will be back and will most likely return to the Mercure.
