NASTY UNPREPARED STAFF . HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL JUST GO FOR SOME PLACE ELSE THE STAFF ARE EXTREMELY RUDE AND UNPREPARED. I HAD THE MOST HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE TRYING TO SOLVE A PROBLEM WITH THEM AND NOBODY AND I SAY IT AGAIN NOBODY SOLVED MY PROBLEM, TO BE PRECISE THEY JUST TOLD ME THAT THERE WAS NOTHING THEY COULD DO AND I NEEDED TO WAY FOR THEIR MILLINES TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS PEOPLE, IF CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE IS WHAT YOU NEED RUN BUT RUN FAST! THESE PEOPLE AS NASTY.

Hotel deserted due to renovations yet the check in girl prenended she couldnt offer a late checkout which i was entitled to and didnt mention any renovations instead saying she was giving me the best room. 8am someone started drilling in the wall which lasted for a few more hours. Manager not available for complaints, presumably on holidays while renovation ongoing...

Ibis hotels are set out the same way and this one did not disappoint. Clean hotel throughout. Room was nice and bed was super comfortable. Great breakfast selection. We also had lunch there which was very enjoyable. Good staff throughout the hotel and made you feel very welcome. Was some building work, which we understand has to happen, but started at 8am which felt too early, when you're on holiday.

Clean and airy reception. Key cards didn’t work in lifts despite requests to get actual working cards. Breakfast was just sloppy scrambled eggs and cold baked beans in terms of hot choices. This, coupled with a very noisy group at 2 other tables made for a poor experience. Beers we ordered in the evening weren’t what we actually received. Rooms were clean but metal frame as a wardrobe was poorly positioned and fixed in place meaning I hit my head on there several times.

Visited with my 80 year old mother, brother & wife for 4 nights. Lovely hotel with friendly helpful staff who speak good English. Clean comfortable rooms, cleaned everyday and great shower. Breakfast is good but gets very busy. 20 minutes from airport. Location good be slightly better as my mother finds it difficult walking far so needed to use an Uber a fair bit but they are cheap enough. I would use again if I was coming with my wife.
