5 minute walk to Xmas markets and Old Town. Staff not very friendly but that's just typical of Latvians so don't take it personally.

Extremely disappointed, this is absolutely not a 5* hotel, The amenities and services are even below most 4* hotels in Western Europe. The superior room I booked was very mediocre with low-end furniture and a tiny shower. The SPA area was ridiculously small and to take a shower between the sauna and the pool we had to go out and walk through the corridor, there wasn't even a jacuzzi. Issues with the staff to order a massage for us as a couple. On the positive side, the breakfast was good, as well as the location ( quiet surrounding)

This is a good hotel in a central location, just a stone's throw from the start of the old town. For this reason, it is best to be careful if you take a taxi, as taking it from the wrong side could mean extending your itinerary by 15-20 minutes, just to reverse direction. Apart from that, it would be an excellent hotel, and not just good, if it were classified as 4 stars. It must be said, however, that it is one of the few hotels in Riga that has a spa, albeit small, available to guests. This is certainly a plus, shame about the water in the small pool which is decidedly cold and the absence of a jacuzzi. The room is modern but for my tastes not very functional and of questionable design: the sink is in the middle of the room and the shower and toilet are in two small separate rooms. It can be subjective. Also note the absence of a real table where you can use your computer comfortably. Also note the presence of a minibar, however completely empty. In short, I didn't perceive the comfort of a 5-star hotel. Breakfast was just sufficient: there are some dishes a la carte, the ones I tried didn't seem great to me, and a buffet with a barely sufficient assortment. In short, nothing. On the other hand, I should highlight the great professionalism of all the staff, especially at the reception, kind, smiling and very helpful. Surely, thanks to them, I will have a good memory of this stay.

Spa zone is dark and outdated. Rooms need renovation, parking nearby is expensive.
