Hotel direction to Paking was quite misleading. Check in was quite smooth although there seems to be a small group checking in. Room was gloomy. Breakfast was just normal. Didn't have a change to try out the pool as it was raining for almost 2 days. Overall Staffs was great.

The hotel is located on a artery road, relatively close to Malioboro and other prominent attractions. Room is quite spacious. AC is cold.

Got good service from hotel staff How ever my room every night got machine like, sound like turbine sound, I am not sure where it come from, from aircond or from outside. To tired for me to looking for 😅

Great hotel in Jogja

Used to stay in this hotel 2 years back, but did not like the environment because of the dark environment, although I liked the friendlypeople. Walls were painted in dark color, lightings were inadequate. Because of I like to stay in Accor hotels, had to book again this time. To my surprise, the environment totally changed to brighter environment. Loved to stay here and will comeback to stay here when visiting Jogja again.

Overall the location of Grand Mercure YK is very strategic location and the room is clean, but i think the check-in system and FO staff need some training and upgrade system. i had waiting to check-in for 40 minutes
