My book number didn't record in the hotel, i had to called the hotel 3-4 times just to ensure my booking was recorded, really SLOW RESPONSE and have no responsibility to call back The breakfast was not that good The refrigerator was broken, so We need to wait 2-3 hours only to call the mechanic The good points only well located, center jogja, clean room (but the room was so small for 5 stars hotel)

The room actually good. We ordered a non smoking room, but the room we got smelled of cigarette. We complained about it, the staff put an air filter. But the room still smells. We stayed for two days.

I am always satisfied to stay at Mercure throughout Indonesia so far. But at Mercure Adi Sucipto, there are several things that make me disappointed. 1. I just returned to the hotel at half past 1 am (first day). Very tired after a day of sightseeing and need to rest. But suddenly at 5 am, I was disturbed by the sound of music that was quite loud in the room which I thought was the sound of my wife's cellphone. But after I checked it that there were speakers on the ceiling above the minibar that made music. What the hell is it? I don't need music at 5 am. What I need is quiet so I can sleep well. The music just turned off after I called the receptionist. After that I couldn't sleep anymore and I lost my rest time. Something I have never experienced in years of staying at Mercure all over Indonesia. 2. At 9 am, I have breakfast at the restaurant for about 30 minutes. But as soon as I returned to the room, my room was cleaned. Even though the condition of my room was still a mess where a lot of my wife and my personal belongings should have been stored before the room was cleaned. My wallet is still lying around, my cellphone is still charging, my laptop is open, my suitcase is also open. Indeed, nothing is lost, but who guarantees that my wallet is not opened, my laptop is not seen and other things that are quite private. The cleaning service officer should have made sure to the receptionist whether the guest in the room asked for the room to be cleaned or not. I meet a cleaning service officer who cleaned my room and I was reprimanded. But the answer is procedure. The procedure is that the room is knocked twice, if there is no answer then the room will be cleaned (there is no tool to tell whether the room wants to be cleaned or not which is usually hung on the door handle, at my room). I don't think the procedure is correct. Because it could be that guests in the room are sleeping and don't hear a knock. Is it justified to enter the room when guests are in the room just because they don't hear the cleaning service door knocking? Or there are guests who really don't want their rooms cleaned because they only stay one or two nights. I think the hotel management should ensure the privacy of guests like that. And I hope the hotel management can pay attention to the things above for future improvements. Thank you!
