If i had not organised a full schedule and as a platinum member I would have been very dissapointed with my stay So for balance i will do good and bad BAD 1. On arrival no recognition of membership status just another face in the crowd 2. Executive lounge not open and no arrangements in place. Asked on arrival and 2 days later they had a solution!! 3. No welcome letter or pack in the room, no gift etc. Eventually they brought some fruit but.. should do a quality check 4. I had a suite but they need to review maintenence policy e.g shower head, broken coat hangers, curtains not closing fully. Good 1. Reception staff was very helpful as were all the staff i dealt with directly 2. Location easy to get around yogya

Smoking ambience for Non Smoking Rooms

Staying in Executive Deluxe Room, Already note and preferences to Non Smoking Room, At the time entering the room, smoking ambience and smoking smell are very strong. Complaining to Front desk and handled by FOM and answered: that is a Non Smoking room, Then I tell him back: your concierge already claiming that the smell is very strong with strong evidence also that one of the Coffee table already burned with cigarettes. FOM tell me that he wanted to treat the Room and I refused: I need a Non Smoking Room, not a Treated room (smoking smell will last forever) I insisted him and finally he moves me to the Non Smoking Room. Should happened like this? Not automatically fullfilling the guest needs and wants? I just can’t believe Accor Hotels treated their guests like this..

The room is not described properly.. the window is facing a wall and no lights from outside. Have toComplain to got free upgrade, and again..the king size bed describe is a two single bed combine. Shouldn't we as customers be informed?

...but this is not a hotel for a chilly, quite and relaxed weekend. Its a place for conventions, huge events, meetings.... We travelled to Yogyakarta for pleasure, for a long weekend. It was our plan to enjoy the amenities of the hotel as mentioned on the ALL Accor website. Just beside, I am ACCOR member since 12 years and having the Gold Status. The check-in, the room, the gym all OK, but the hotel is just big, just crowded and just uncomfortable. There is not a single spot, where you would like to sit down, relax and may be have a drink. The whole hotel seems and looks like a big waiting room / hall in a train or bus station. Especially the "Bar", omg, a cold looking waiting room, but not a cozy comfortable room where you can enjoy a nice drink or beer. The restaurant is crowded, the design of the restaurant and its furniture, the huge space outside the terrace; who did this?? The whole terrace is a boiling, hot spot without any shadow (same the pool area), just uncomfortable...and most ugly, no room and space for non-smokers. As a non-smoker you have no chance to escape, the whole hotel is focussing on the 90% indonesian smokers. Not nice... Under the line. If you need a hotel due to business trip or to attend a meeting, just for a night, - yes. But for a pleasure time, holiday or long weekend, - a no go. This hotel is nothing for a romantic or relaxed time for 2. Even the extremly helpful and friendly staff, especially the team (including the trainees) of the restaurant, cannot hide the facts of afore mentioned. We checked out already our alternatives for our next stay in Yogyakarta, - our choice will be the "NOVOTEL" or "The Phoenix".

The hotel located near my clients office. The staff very helpful. The MOD (Dina/Rina) help us about our inquiry smoothly and even she find And meet us in the restaurant when we are having dinner. How ever, suggest to improve the internet connection and the sound proof of the room as i can hear the water running in the drain from the room above.

I stayed for 5 nights 6 days in Grand Mercure Yogyakarta on 20-24 June 2021. This is my bad experience in mercure. This comment is not a complain but I hope this advice can improve the hotel quality, especially on the service. - On 21 June, no refill of mineral water. - On 22 June at night (10 pm), I asked to the staff to give more mineral water but there was no staff coming until morning. - On 23 June in the morning, I went out from the room and came back to the hotel at night. The room was not really clean. I found some tissue on the floor and there was no laundry bag. - On 24 june (in the morning at 2 am), the restaurant staff called me and said that the fried rice was ready. I answered that I didn't order anything for this morning. And the restaurant staff said : I am sorry, it's wrong room. You could imagine, it's at 2 am. - Some guests in the lobby do not wear masks but the security doesn't warn them. But, I appreciated for the excellent service to the some staff : - Mba Iin, the marketing of the Grand Mercure Yogyakarta, helps me to extend my room. I want to book via A. ALL Apps but room not available and I asked to the receptionist but the answer not really helpful. The FO said I must wait the confirmation in the morning. I remember on early of 2020, mba Iin helped our company to arrange our accomodation. So I sent a message at 10 pm and asked her "could you help me to check the room in Mercure?" She replied with the solution. Thanks mba Iin, you replied my message at 10pm and always give the excellent services. - The laundry staff is very nice. I said to him I need my shirt to be ready in the early morning, they give excellent services. - The service of the Front office staff when I check out is very nice. I forgot the name but she is patient, friendly and helpful. I hope my review can improve your business.

My frequent hotel when i went for work or vacation in Jogja. Nice and friendly staffs. Nice and well maintained room and facilities. I have one suggestion for ur improvement. I've dining at purple restaurant. I placed an order of fried chicken. I feel the chicken still half frozen. Thank u.

Stayed there for two nights and got the free upgrade because of the accor plus member. All the staffs are very friendly and helpful. But had some concerns regarding the AC which is not cold and also the bathroom in that room level only available with bathtub. Prefer to have both bathtub and rain shower. But the hotel really implementing the health protocols during this pandemic time which makes me safe during my stay here.
