Had issues with my Eurostar and had to stay in Brussels, booked this hotel as it was close by. Not disappointed at all. Friendly staff, nice and comfortable room, very good breakfast. Despite the fact it is located in city center, room was very quiet.

The hotel was great. Good service. Good people. Overall a good stay and sleep. On Sunday morning there is a gigantic market across the street. And they have everything you could possibly imaging without driving your vehicle. just walk across the street.

Executive free for being a member

The executive room was given to me for free from a normal superior room reservation for being a member, and it was the best hotel experience i have ever had. I recommend the novotel and all accor hotels for being just the hotel service that you need for city brakes and business trips. They definitely won me as a client with the executive upgrade.

Very loud construction all day for 2 days

The hotel and staff were nice, but it's inexcusable to put your customers directly beneath a room that is under construction with loud noise, power equipment in use and workers stomping about all day for both days of our stay. I don't believe this was an oversight because I'm certain that hotel management was aware of the construction schedule, so I believe that it was just greed that prompted you not to block out the rooms that would be impacted by the noise of the construction. I am an expat living part of each year in Vietnam, and have stayed in some of your other brand hotels throughout SE Asia (Ibis, etc.), but will no longer do so because of this poor experience.

Good location for train tranportation

Good located nearby main train station. The room is big (we choosed executive room). But the breakfast had limited choices comparing with other Novotel hotels. Very few choices, not meet expectation. The staff are very few as well. When there's many guests waiting for check it, this showed traffic jam on que. And the staff at reception needed to take care coffee shop also, so many tasks making not provide service ontime for guest at check in counter.

I had a very pleasant stay with my family, the rooms were very clean, the room service staff were very kind, the reception staff were very helpfull and very ready to give any assistance ,thank you for all of them, the resturant was very clean however the food diversity is not enough.

Probably the worse experience I have had in any Accor hotel, and not what I expect from Novotel which I have always been told were a 4 star star rating. I was upgraded to an Executive room as I am a Gold member of the Accor Loyalty scheme, the free mini bar was never re-filled correctly every day of the 4 days I was there, so always had to ask at reception. The coffee capsules were also not replenished one day, these are just basic hotel housekeeping tasks, so why so difficult? The bathroom sink had no plug to stop water draining and no member of staff cold tell me why, including the Front Of House Manager, who did come to investigate, but i never saw or heard from him again. For a hotel chain that says it is a environmentally friendly company, I don't see how wasting water is acceptable. The bar is a joke, it has two counter top machines of the type you would have at home, and are just not suitable for a commercial business. The Stella Artois ran out on our first night there. Not sure why the Ibis hotel just up the road has such a better bar. I am always loyal to Accor hotels, but this this will be my last stay at any Novotel hotel.

Always a good hotel, but almost closed on a Sunday

I like this hotel, stayed many times and always been satisfied, but this was the first time on a Sunday, and I was a bit disappointed that aside from the rooms themselves, the hotel appeared to be closed for business. As an Accor member I normally get a welcome drink, but that was unavailable as the bar was closed, and seemingly only one person on duty, and no food available either. I am surprised at this in such a prime location. None the less, the rooms are always good, you get a safe and a fridge (to put your own beer in that you can buy from Delhaize down the street!) and I got one on the 7th floor with a balcony, which is always a bonus, and the member of staff on duty was welcoming and helpful as always.

Enjoyed our stay at the Novotel . Wonderful Big n Clean n Comfortable Rooms . Very Helpful Staff. Location of Hotel is also good but not too far from the City Center. However the Hotel is just 100 meters from the Midi Train Station .

Stayed for less than a week at this hotel. Its in front of main metro-train station in you can reach the city easily. Main city areas like grand palace are within 20 minutes walking distance. Friendly staff. Breakfast is average in my opinion. Note: I think they usually switch AC OFF during the day and ON at night. Wasn’t big issue as I can open the windows (weather was nice at that time) so I didn’t complain to them.

- Location of the hotel is very good as it is very close to midi station. However you will need to commute to the Brussels central for site seeing. - Room is of good size and bathroom is also of good size.

we choose the hotel as we usually stay in Accor Hotels as we never get let down, as member its easy to book online and the service never lets you down. We chose the hotel as it is opposite the Brussels Midi where we caught the Eurostar to a train enthusiast I couldn't have got a better room looking over the station from our veranda. The room was clean with a bath / shower, room service was very good. we ordered a pizza which arrived within 10 minutes.

We spent one night here in transit to another destination in Belgium. On arrival, Regina was very helpful and deserves a special mention. We were grateful to be able to check in early however we still wanted to explore Brussels for the day and she provided some great advice for what to see and how to get around the city. A few hiccups in the hotel room were not being able to turn off the lights without also turning off the power, which made it hard to charge devices overnight! The sofabed was uncomfortable for our teens to share. Breakfast was also a bit hit and miss, with a great selection of pastries and cold offerings but no refill on the hot buffet in the whole 30min we spent there, not a single hotel employee in sight! Overall we were still happy with our stay, the hotel has a great location and the rooms are very quiet.

I usually experience very good stays at this hotel that is located in Central Brussels. However this time it was not so good. The room was excellent but unfortunately it was located on the roadside of the hotel and I could hear a lot of roadside noise. Fortunately I had some good earplugs and these reduced this so that I could sleep, but the sleep quality was poor overall, and I felt tired while working the following days. Also there appeared to be a lot of guest this time and unfortunately this affected the quality of the breakfast, especially as the mixed fruit selection was all gone by the time I got to breakfast on both mornings that I stayed there.

Very friendly personal and clean rooms. We came by car and paid incredible 30,-Euro parking fee per night. This was nearly 40 of the cost of the room - Absolutely unacceptable! The breakfast unfortunately stood below expectations as well. No fruits (beside of aged oranges), no cakes, cheese plate was already gone and not re-filled when we came for breakfast. It was even way below the breakfast that we had the night before in the IBIS Styles Zeebrugge.

Even it was only for one night was very good. Only the garage entry/exit is tightly (very much, of you have an Renault Scenic 2019 😥). The personal were very kind and professional. Avoid the Sundays due to the weekly market.

This hotel is well situated close to the Midi station giving easy access to a variety of transport options allowing easy travel all around Brussels. Although the hotel doesn't look like much from the outside, inside it is modern, clean and the rooms spacious and nicely decorated. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Can't comment on the food as didn't eat there but the beer in the bar was nice!

Well placed just outside the northern side of Midi station, within walking distance of several beer bars, and the Cantillon Brewery. Nice bedrooms and high quality and generous breakfast. Also handy for trams and metro if you want to go further afield in Brussels.
