Very nice building and it is located closed to Viña´s center and seashore at 5 blocks. Beds are comfortable and rooms well design with all amenities and central heating. Excellent Breakfast full display and nice tasting coffee....

I did enjoyed my stay at Novotel Vina del Mar. The room was clean and had all the regular amenities. A couple of issues could make the stay better. The air was so dry with the heater constantly blowing even at low fan setting. I do understand the necessity of heating but maybe some moisturizer could be available as part of the amenities. Also the water took a very long time to warm up and it does not help with water conservation. Otherwise, breakfast was great, bed was comfortable and service was excellent. Thank you..

No hot water for the entire stay

There was no hot water for the entire stay. When I did the check-in the issue was already there, nobody mentioned it. The next day, many people complained in the lobby. However, the general manager only agreed to talk to people one by one in his office instead of offering a solution for all guests. This obviously caused a long queue and guests (including me) gave up after 20-30min (which obviously was his plan). So no recommendation at all.

The room was wonderful. It was comfortable and nicely-sized. The hotel property was clean and well-organized. It was modern without being cold and sterile. The staff were extraordinary. Every one of them was very helpful and very friendly, even with a language barrier (although many on the staff spoke perfect English and even those who were not fluent in English spoke better English than I spoke Spanish). The breakfast was of high quality and varied. The location was good, not great. It was located in a safe area near a number of restaurants. It was about a mile walk (not excessively long, but not close) either to the beach or to the metro station. The only negative was that the hot water was not very hot and it took a long time to heat up. I'm not sure if this was a temporary glitch from the time of my short visit (too short!), or if this is just the way it is.
