Everything I was looking for in the middle of Brum - wonderful staff, secure parking, huge bed, an easy stroll to the centre of Birmingham or out to the Jewellery Quarter. Star of the show was Kelly who went out of her way to help when I first rang with a query, then rang back when I messed up my booking. She was kind, professional, helpful and even made me laugh. Any business would be lucky to have someone like her.

Really nice and chilled atmosphere. Great staff. A cheeky chocolate bar left for us was a nice touch. Loved staying there. A bit hard to find but sat nav and instruction from the hotel staff do help. Great breakfast. Ample food and drinks on tap. Really good hotel.

Clean and comfortable and the room was bigger than we expected. In a quiet area, which was a very pleasant 10 minute stroll to the Symphony Hall (where we were going to a concert). Didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment on that. Staff friendly and helpful

Served its purpose, wouldn’t rush back.

Visited Birmingham for one night with my two children. The hotel served its purpose for what we needed but I wouldn’t rush back. Pros: Location - convenient for where i needed, short walk to Legoland/sea life, and 10 mins to the shopping area. Price - I paid £68 for the 3 of us including breakfast, and £15 for secure parking. Breakfast was included and had a reasonable selection Free tea and coffee throughout your stay as well as ice Cons: Sofa bed was awful, even my 7 year old said it was the worst bed she had slept in Duvets were so thin, I sent a message to the WhatsApp number they give you in the room to contact reception and had zero response (I couldn’t go down myself as my kids were in bed) AC made a hideous noise every hour, kept waking me up, didn’t realise what it was until I mentioned it at checkout, apparently they are getting ‘maintenance to see to it’, also other random noises (not guests) Staff were sat playing on their mobiles at the reception desk Breakfast was okay, good selection but not particularly tasty Parking not signposted at the front of the hotel, I found it by accident Hotel seems tired and not what i expected from an ibis styles hotel, I suspect (and hope) it’s waiting for a refurb.

Stayed for a few nights as we had tickets for Peter Kay at the utilities arena, ideally situated to the venue, less than 10 mins along the canal. Also a nice 20 min walk into the city centre, Lovely spacious room, superb buffet breakfast, easy parking below the hotel, definitely a place we shall return to
