From the outside, the hotel is not mum's finest, but that is true of more buildings in Birmingham. Fortunately, it is the inside that holds true and in that, this hotel is a beauty. Friendly staff, clean rooms and good food. The rooms are a bit dated, but clean and well maintained. I would love to come here again.

Great for large group bookings

We had a group booking of 30 people and the hotel accommodated us very well, even with last minute changes! Staff we on hand to help and very receptive to supporting what we needed. Would recommend staying here for any big gatherings/conferences.

What a superb location on Broad Street. Trams and buses stop almost opposite. Staff most welcoming and efficient. Bedroom had all one could want with very comfortable bed. Breakfast was a buffet style with excellent choice of both hot and cold food. Thoroughly recommend this hotel for a city break.

It was by far one of the best afternoon tea experiences we have ever had. The experience was made even more brilliant because of our waitress Juliet, who could not do enough for us. She made us feel special from start to finish. Great selection of foods. Great service. We will return again.

Excellent service and friendly staff, very welcoming. Food was lovely with a good range of sandwiches and cakes. Staff explained what was included in the sandwiches and when cakes arrived everything was explained . Unlimited tea and coffee with very attentive staff , would highly recommend
