I had a problem with my booking being cancelled without any notification but before I travelled the staff sorted this quickly and without any problems. Once I arrived all the staff I encountered were of the highest quality, but I would like to single out one person in particular. I travel to many hotels every year but I can say without any doubt that the best welcome I have ever had at any hotel over many years was from Linda. While I liked the central location of the hotel and the the room I have, my 5 star review is mainly a reflection on the excellent treatment I had from Linda. She could not have done more to make me feel welcome and ensured I knew everything I needed. Linda is a star. Thank you for making me so welcome.

4 adults need a superior room

The room we stayed in last time had been upgraded from what I booked which I didn’t know about, so we had a lovely time. I booked a room same as last time with high expectations, but this time the room is much, much smaller, unsuitable for 4 adults and a baby. I had high expectations but this time just paid a high price for unmet expectations. Ruined my trip before I’d even got there.

Stayed 7th-11th March while visiting Crufts. Check in took a lot longer than normal as there seemed to be a bit of confusion with my booking and I had to produce a booking reference number which I haven’t had to do before but eventually we got the key to our room. As before things were perfect and we had no problems at all. We borrowed a toaster for the duration of our stay to use at breakfast time. We cannot fault this Aparthotel at all and we will be returning again next year

Lovely apart hotel located in the city centre. Great reception welcome. Rooms ok, most important the heaters work no problem. You have the kettle, the hair dryer and the iron in the room already. To make it 5 stars: - You need to install Netflix & Disney apps directly on the tv or buy smart tv that have those apps in it rather then allowing casting device as it was a real nightmare to set up and kept disconnecting during the duration of the movie. The remote had the netflix and disney buttons too. You just need the apps please! - The bed mattress is a little hard and the look of walls could be refreshed. - Very noisy in the corridors on a Saturday night - Homeless staying right outside and a fair amount of questionable characters entering reception area without a problem EVEN without a key. You need security ideally, but That’s just a Birmingham problem everywhere you go :)

Regarding the TV, all of our rooms are equipped with Smart TVs. However, for security reasons, we currently only offer casting options rather than allowing direct app access. Staying in Birmingham for a few days? It's got to be the Aparthotel Adagio!

This is my third visit to the Aparthotel Adagio Birmingham and I had yet another fantastic experience. My first time (April 2024) was brief as I was visiting for a relative's birthday and therefore didn't make the most of the hotel's amenities. Since then, I have stayed for 3-4 nights each time and honestly, it really is like a home away from home! The rooms are great- it's a good size with a fully equipped kitchenette to make meals at your leisure, the bathroom has a generous sized shower with great heat AND pressure, and there is storage space for toiletries. The room is soundproof- my room was near the lift and I barely heard anyone. Depending on what room you get, you may get a view of the Bullring which is pretty cool. The location is amazing- the Bullring, Moor Street Station and Birmingham Coach Station are a stones throw away, and as someone coming up by coach from London Victoria, the hotel being a mere 4-minute walk away is perfect! I had a minor issue with my Chromecast not working on my tv. It didn't work at all during my stay and though this was inconvenient, I informed the staff who attempted fix it on two separate occasions, and I appreciated their efforts. The staff members were all warm, friendly and helpful. Linda, in particular, was lovely and it was nice to receive a warm greeting from her again! I have another stay coming up in June and I can't wait. If you need somewhere to stay in the heart of Birmingham, rather than book a hotel that has less amenities, possibly at a similar price, I'd highly recommend the Aparthotel Adagio. It just makes sense!
