The Reef House Palm Cove

We visited the Reef House for 3 nights recently and were blown away by the hospitality and level of service provided. The rooms have a classic, historic charm. The room was very comfortable and well cleaned and maintained during our stay. There was a quiet tranquillity to the pool areas and no areas in the resort ever felt busy or hectic as you may find at other hotels/resorts. The poolside sorbet, nightly punch and canapes and complimentary bikes were all inclusions we enjoyed. The breakfast was incredible, made better by the different juices the kitchen made up each morning. The staff really made the experience by being friendly and always being accommodating. Not once did we walk past a staff member who didn't stop to say hello or ask how our day was going. A special mention to Michelle on reception who checked us in and out and was exceptionally warm and welcoming.

We have been to Palm Cove quite a few times and never have we stayed in such a welcoming, comfortable and tranquil resort! Staff could not do enough for you! We will be back again for sure! Thanks From Scott & Dani xo

We stayed at The Reef House Hotel last week and it was an amazing experience. The staff were wonderful from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. Nothing was too hard for them and we were always greeted with a smile. The hotel has a lovely relaxed atmosphere (don't expect a major hotel chain approach) and its position on the Esplanade at Palm Cove provides a beautiful view of the Coral Sea when having breakfast on the front deck. The heated mineral pool and the tranquility pool provide different swimming experiences - one like a warm bath and the other the opportunity to swim exhilarating laps. We ate at the Reef House Restaurant on a couple of occasions and both times the food and service were first-class, The barramundi in a light curry sauce is exquisite - not to be missed. The daily cocktail in the Brigadier's Bar is a lovely touch as are the daily sorbets round the pool. A thoroughly enjoyable experience all up. We will be back!

At first glance it’s just another hotel.. However, we spent 8 days doing nothing and loving it. The staff (Remy, Samantha, Michelle and Cedric) to name a few were kind, attentive and genuine in their concern for our welfare. The small touches made a big impact on us. The location is an added plus. Eight days of bliss. We want to return.

This was an experience not just time away. We began to relax within a couple of hours. Loved that is adults only. Mineral heated pool very good. Sometimes could be crowded but not a big problem. Restaurant: service and food very good. Staff were efficient and welcoming
