“The hotel has a very convenient location, which is definitely a plus. However, the rooms are quite small, the bathroom is cramped, and the building itself lacks a cozy atmosphere. The internet connection is poor, and breakfast is rather simple with a limited selection of dishes. The absence of a bar can also be considered a drawback. Overall, the value for money does not match the level of service provided.”

Average Ibis hotel. Would stay again.

We were staying in Amsterdam for one night and chose this hotel mostly due to the location and price. It’s located in a vibrant area, with a local market and only a few minutes walk from the Heineken Experience. It’s about a 30 minute walk to the city centre, or accessible via public transport. The hotel itself is pretty average, no frills, but well priced. The 4th floor is only accessible via steep stairs, so shouldn’t be booked by those less able. Our room was a decent size, with air con and an opening window. The room also included tea and coffee making facilities and two bottles of water. The staff were very friendly. The lady that checked us in changed our room free of charge as I had accidentally booked a room with two single beds instead of one double. We would definitely stay here again when in Amsterdam.
